Nikko Tokinoyuu is only a 1-minute stroll from world heritage site Shinkyo Sacred Bridge. It offers a public bath, Japanese-style accommodations and free WiFi throughout. “A prime location and comfortable stay!”
This hotel is right across the road from the famous red bridge and shrines. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the futons were far more comfortable than expected! The public bath is great and so are the amenities.

Location was amazing, right next to the bus stops and Shinkyo bridge. Not far from the train station too. The most welcoming and friendly staff that helped us with everything. We loved the onsen, it was completely empty when my boyfriend and I were there so it felt really private and peaceful. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

“Great position and view. Super staff”
The typical Japanese room was very cozy and with a very good atmosphere. Our room had a view on Shinkyo bridge. The staff was super nice.

“Comfortable stay at the hotel.”
Good location made the tourist sites accessible. And the bus stop just outside the hotel made travel convenient, especially on cold days when we can wait in the lobby.

“Nice traditional hotel close to the world heritage area, but poor attention to customer needs.”
Facilities were really good: spacious traditional room, onsen in the basement. There was also a small complimentary breakfast (a bun, a roll and coffee/tea). The location was also good: close to the world heritage area. Although a bit far from the Tobu Nikko station (20 minutes walk).

“Excellent place to stay in Nikko”
The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. The location is great is you’re planning to explore the shrines and walks which are east from here and there is a bus stop just outside. The room was clean and with clear instructions too. High recommend!
