Great Onsen and Sauna Experience, fantastic views from the balcony room and very easy parking options. Great streets to wonder around and explore and friendly service.

Room is big and suits our family of 4. On site onsen. Dinner and breakfast are delicious and staff at the dining hall are friendly, helpful and even with their limited English, they can tell us what the dishes are and how to eat them. Saw few foreigners at the hotel which was great.

“Decently priced”

The room was adequately sized and very clean. The location was along the river which can be viewed from a small balcony. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station and a few restaurants which is convenient enough however, the hotel does serve a decent breakfast and dinner.

Location was good though approach was narrow. Check in was smooth and ample parking arrangements were in place. Decent room view facing the river and the hills. Friendly English speaking staff available.

The food was good and very generous but on the last night, all we had was mostly fish. No variety. While on previous nights we already had mostly fish. I was expecting more variety on the food. The room was big and spacious. Onsen was ok. Staff was very cheerful and helpful.

- Even though there is a language barrier with some staffs, all staffs offer highest level of customer service. - Relaxed and tranquil environment. - Wonderful set of dinner and breakfast! Totally recommended.

“Traditional Japanese feel with western comforts”

This was easily my favourite hotel on our Japan trip. Our Japanese-western room had the traditional Japanese feel but had standard beds which was exactly what I was after. The view of the Kinugawa River was amazing! The Onsen was great too. It was my first open-air Onsen and was very relaxing. Finally, the staff were great, we even randomly met the main man in a nearby karaoke bar one night which was very fun!

Or visit was off peak, midweek, and the hotel was lovely and quiet. staff was so helpful, view amazing, the onsen and sauna was fantastic, I was there alone. Everything is a little old fashioned, but very clean. the breakfast was the best we have had in Japan.

“Affordable & budget friendly hotel in kinugawa onsen, perfect for travellers in transit.”

Affordable facility in kinugawa onsen area. Room is spacious enough with its own bathroom - very worth it for its price. Rooms seems renovated recently. Lobby decor bit outdated looking but does not affect the stay. Staff are very helpful despite the language barrier. An english speaking staff member - April - is the highlight of their hotel. Helpful in check in/out process as well as booking our tickets for the shuttle bus and atractions nearby. Kudos for that!

Nice room, very friendly staff and excellent breakfast

Very good, take bus from kinugawa onsen station with 200 yen is convenient. The real equipment and environment is more new and clean than the photos.
