“A Wonderful Ryokan Experience at Kinugawa Park Hotels”

We stayed at Kinugawa Park Hotels in Kinugawa, Nikko (Tochigi) for two nights last weekend, and we loved every minute of it. The traditional ryokan atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for—calm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The highlight of our stay was definitely the meals. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors that made every meal feel special. It was one of those rare experiences where you look forward to breakfast and dinner just as much as exploring the area. The staff were warm and attentive, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a taste of traditional Japanese hospitality, Kinugawa Park Hotels is a fantastic choice. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

“Good value for money and great private onsens”

The room was comfortable and the facilities were pleasant. A highlight was the outdoor private onsens. You could make one hour bookings for a very reasonable fee.

Charming old school but great hotel with onsen

The hotel was amazing, the rooms are very authentic, the staff very welcoming even though english is a bit difficult. The dinner and breakfast is pricey but it is clearly worth it i'd recommend it to everyon at least one time. The public bath are huge and so beautiful, i mean the whole hotel is amazing.

“Lovely, sweet staff, gorgeous onsen but dated rooms”

Lovely old school ryokan but it’s obviously dated. It was probably amazing and luxurious when they first opened like decades ago but it still retains some old world charm save for some rather tired finishings.

Location. Food is very delicious with big portion. The taste is suitable for foreigners. Staff are very polite.

The private onsen was amazing, although in the morning its very crowded so I had to booked at night which I cant see the garden and view. But overall its an amazing experience. Especially I got the first snow moment while bathing.

Extremely large room, with large spaces to sit and chat while watching the views. The room came with a nice tea corner. There were many onsens and they were not too populated.

Kinugawa Park Hotels is a nice Japanese-style inn with large and comfortable rooms offering both European beds as well as Tatami mats. The Onsen public baths are a bit dated, but well laid out and a nice experience.

Room is big and spacious. There is an onsen that hotel guests can use. Food ordered from their restaurant can be delivered to your room too!

“Perfect stay for a nature break near Nikko”

We really liked our stay here. We stayed for 2 nights which was great, we were also able to enjoy the private onsen. The nature in the area is amazing, lots of good hikes. And plenty of other areas easily reachable by train or bus.
