I liked the breakfast and dinner, the restaurant and food were outstanding!! Amazing lounge room! The onsen was also very nice (inner part). however it was difficult to use the open-air bath because the big pieces of melting snow fell from the roof straight on the road between the inner onsen part and the outside onsen part very harshly, so if you are not rushing, there was a pretty big chance of receiving cold snow on your back. Also, snow was fallen to the onsen, making a lot of splashes, so it was quite a challenge.

Great spot to be away from citylife. Relaxing hot spring baths. Meals were very nice, especially if you enjoy seafood 😋👌 Clothes to change into for baths actually fit (I'm obviously a larger person in size) and comfy.

Breakfast, snacks & dinner was all inclusive, including alcohol beverages. Food was good and its buffet style. Onsen pool is great as well. There is an outdoor & indoor pool. Its not recommended if you are planning to do 1 night stay due to it being secluded. Its 55mins bus ride from kinugawa onsen station and you get off at the end stop. Hotel is right next to the bus stop. Perfect winter escape if you love the cold.

An amazing place! The hotel is beautiful, the meals are from another planet, the onsen is wonderful, absolutely like nothing else I've ever tried!

Everything was perfect except the a/c equipment started dropping water in the middle of the night, that didn’t let me fall asleep.

Hotel very responsive in communication re hotel information. The room (10+6 tatami mats equivalent to 54 sq m) is spacious for 4 adults.There is a bedroom with 2 futons on the left next to main entrance. The right is a living room which has ample space for 2 futons and a table with cushions seats backing. It would be better to have a huge living area with 4 futons and table space to unwind over green tea instead of a separate bedroom area. Bathroom & toilet area is spacious with 2 sinks. There is a free drink cafe on 1st floor where you can chill out after onsen. Yuzu drink is refreshing. You can purchase the carton drink at the souvenir shop. Iced beverages are self served at the machines. 1st night Kaiseki dinner is seasonal appetiser, sashimi, grilled skewers of river fish, miso Tsukune, mochi. Main course is Nikko pork shabu shabu which is average. However, they run out of white rice only left grilled rice ball with dashi soup which is delicious. The table is quite low so we are not very comfortable with the table height and normal chair height . Took us a while to adjust. Japanese Breakfast next day main is salmon which is delicious. Yuba hotpot with enoki mushrooms and vegetables is tasty. 2nd night Kaiseki dinner main course was beef tapanyaki was very delicious. It was served with yuba rice. Prawns, potatoes, yuba and small scallops in skewers. Japanese Breakfast next day main is grilled fish. Japanese bean curd is extraordinarily delicious in a hotpot. Indoor onsen is average however, the outdoor onsen is nice.

Great location, right next to the snow lantern festival. Modern lobby and lounge. Free tea coffee and juices at anytime and self serve wine - great choices at reasonable cost. Free ramen for guests from 9-10.30 pm was a nice touch and the onsen was a unique experience - from images I thought it was outside but it’s enclosed by glass. Wish they sold the pyjamas they provide in the room as very comfortable. Staff very friendly, google translate came in handy

The hotel is in a very quite area, very relaxing. Although rooms are a bit old, but they are very clean. We have 2 children 2yo & 6yo, both had an enjoyable memory of the hot spring
