first time in Japan I was able to work with air condition :D

Location is fantastic, perfectly set between the station and good restaurants, and right across from family mart, although they do have a drinks vending machine at the entry. I love it here. Fantastic view of the mountain (as per picture from my balcony), comfy bed, nice bathhouse. Good japanese style breaky, fresh rice, miso and selection of pickles and meats, some eggs and hashies to suit western breaky too.

Even room is very small but still very comfortable and with TV and writing desk . Much better than stay in a share room. Public hot bath is a big plus after you have a long day. Very close to public transport

I was not expecting the capsule bed to be an actually room (narrow) but still, only mine, so a lot of privacy. that exceeded my expectations. Staff was helpfull Had a mini sento Had washing machines, drying and also lockers outside in case you want to go for a walk before your checkin w/o your bag

Very closed to public transport and main attractions, offer free coffee in the morning, has public hot water bath , lots of table to sit at G/F , can leave luggage at entrance and can lock up the luggage before checking in, have TV inside the room. Convenient store, ramen or shushi shops is just next door

Capsule room was perfect. You get comfy bed and also privacy. Bonus was definitely kimono which you can use in the hotel and before onsen.

Proximity to transport and amenities

The location is great, a short walk to both stations - Tobu-Nikko and Nikko. The bed is firm and I am glad. Generally I like the cleanliness and the neatness of the room and the facilities. I also like the view of the mountains from my room.

It's opposite Family Mart for easy excess to food, drinks, socks, etc. Next door is a cosy ramen shop open till late. The hotel has a buffet breakfast for ¥700 but booking must be made in advance. It's so close to the train and buses, just 5 minutes. The room was spacious, the bathroom size was great. The view from the 4th floor room balcony was spectacular- snow topped mountains!

Room had 2 single beds that were made up everyday, How nice is that? Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of Japanese foods. Short walk to train and bus station. Mini market opposite hotel

A 2-min walk from the Tobu Nikko Station, slightly further away from JR Nikko Station. Family Mart right opposite the lodging. A variety of rooms that you can choose from. Small onsen on the ground floor but it was empty when I went. With proof of your booking, you can also purchase the Tobu bus passes for half price!

Conveniently located near the train station, making it a good choice for a short stay in Nikko. Many restaurants and convenience stores are nearby.
