Beautiful maintained property. Excellent facilities. Amazingly helpful staff. There is a shared kitchen and dining area. Free coffee, tea, miso. Macro wave and oven/toaster available in the kitchen area. Laundry facilities. There is an outdoor area with tables and chairs.

The service is excellent, the breakfast was perfect, all the staff was really helpful especially when there was a mix-up with the schedule for transportation, they gave me a raid directly to the station which I really appreciate, definitely 100% recommended.

The hotel is clean, and the room size is relatively spacious compared to typical Japanese standards. The staff are courteous, and the provision of two pillows per guest is appreciated. Additionally, there is ample parking space, and parking is convenient.

The beds are super comfy, rooms super clean and spacious. Staff were very freindly and helped with checking in 6 of us. Breakfast was a bento which we all enjoyed. Theres a small shop at the hotel that sells bits and noodles but no restaurants close ( we knew this in advance) and had dinner in nikko befor we checked in. The hotel is 30 min walk from nikko town which is a lovely walk, we had a car so didnt use the shuttle.

Location was slightly further from the town than expected but was compensated by being able to book a shuttle bus. Staff were helpful and swapped our room to one with a better view without us asking.

“Short stay in Nikko, whilst touring Japan.”

The staff were wonderful, especially as we had to retrieve a mobile phone which was accidentally left on a train.We also used the shuttle bus, and mobile food truck for breakfast (which was exceptional with good food and huge portions).. It is very quiet due to its rather remote location.

We had a very pleasant stay at Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Nikko. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and spoke very good English, which made everything easy and comfortable. They were always happy to help. The room was not very large, but it was designed in a very smart and efficient way. Everything felt comfortable and well organized, and the bed was especially comfortable. There were also laundry machines available for guests to use, which was very convenient and useful during our trip. Overall, a very comfortable stay with outstanding service and a warm atmosphere.

We had some trouble with our rental car and the hotel staff did everything they could to help us with it. They finally arranged that road assist came to fix our car. Since it would take some time for them yo reach the hotel, they let us go to visit the temples and made sure the car was fixed. Super service!

“Very comfortable stay without any issues”

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds very comfy. The location is slightly away from the main hub of Nikko I would recommend renting a car when staying at this hotel and to see more of Nikko as public transport is fairly limited.

Hotel in a quiet location, 5 minutes from town. Ample free parking. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Although no breakfast at yhe hotel, they did provide coffee tea and a few other snacks. We had a wonderful stay.

“Loved this hotel”

I loved this hotel. We drove, so the location was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking plus a driveway to drop your bags off. The hotel is super modern and clean. Our room had more than enough space for two people + lots of luggage. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The kitchenette on the ground floor is a really nice touch too. Really enjoyed this stay, wish we stayed longer.
