Het Blauwe Uur is located in a historical and monumental building in Nijmegen dating from 1895. The city centre is less than 10 minutes away by foot. A terrific BnB in Nijmegen. Historical house, carefully looked after and very comfortable. The hosts are delightful and breakfast is typically Dutch and very healthy.

“Wonderful place and lovely hosts!”
John and Willy are lovely and welcoming hosts. The house is beautiful and peaceful with original features, on a quiet street about ten minutes walk from the train station. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the house to explore Nijmegen. The room was large and very comfortable with a great bed. Attention is paid to detail and the room is spacious and with everything that is needed. The shower was fab! A breakfast is provided in the small kitchen close to the room - it was very tasty with fruit, yoghurt, rolls, cheese and homemade granola and jams. I was given a map of the town and recommendations for dinner and lunch. The Het Blauwe Uur and John and Willy made my stay in Nijmegen (I was visiting the town and the the Kroller Muller museum and National Park) and I would definitely stay again.

“Very pleasant stay in a beautiful house and similar room.”
The B&B is located in an classic mansion with large stairs, high rooms and very nice classical details. We had an excellent breakfast that suited our vegetarian lifestyle. Coffee and tea could be made in the room and the kitchenette down the hall was perfectly equipped for what we needed. The room was well decorated and with quality finish. John and Willy are very pleasant hosts that will go the extra mile to provide you what you need (like an umbrella during the hail storm when we just planned to leave). The B&B just at the edge of the city center so everything there is easily walkable.

“Just Amazing!”
In a beautiful historic building, you are warmly welcomed by John and Willy who will do their utmost to make you feel at home and to give you any useful information to get around the city. The room is just amazing! Very large, with attention to every detail, full of beauty in every aspect and expertly illuminated with both natural and artificial light. The bed is large and comfortable as are the pillows and duvet, the bathroom is a real corner of beauty with a large shower. The breakfasts are a real "cuddle": every morning a note, together with everything you wish to eat while sitting comfortably at the table in the room with a view of the trees and beautiful buildings opposite from the two windows. I can not wait to come back!
