Connected to JR Niigata Train Station's south exit, Art Hotel Niigata Station offers modern air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. Buffet Restaurant Iroha are featured. It has 6 conference rooms. The simple yet modern rooms at Niigata Station Art Hotel have calm colours and a flat-screen TV with pay-per-view channels, electric kettle and fridge. Memory foam pillows are offered for guest's comfort, while an air purifier and trouser press are provided in the room. Close by to the station, very convenient. Twin room is quiet spacious. Single room is a bit tight, but this is the norm for hotels in Japan. The bus terminal is also right next to the train station. Easy getting around places that can commute by train or buses. Bus goes to the ferry terminal if interested to Sado Island. There is so much to see in Sado island and best to spend minimally 2 days to enjoy the island. The hotel provides all the amenities required. highly recommended.

Easy getting around places that can commute by train or buses. Bus goes to the ferry terminal if interested to Sado Island. There is so much to see in Sado island and best to spend minimally 2 days to enjoy the island. The hotel provides all the amenities required. highly recommended.

Good location connected to the station and Shinkansen. Compact, tidy room. Asked for a view and got one on the 11th floor. Plenty of dining, drinking and shopping options nearby. Staff friendly and accommodating

Located in the train station. Easy access to convenient store, shopping mall and restaurants. The room is just enough for one person, hard for the big luggage. Thanks for responding for my need for quiet and hi speed wifi for online work. Quiet an easy stay.

“Well-placed and well-priced.”
Being right at the Niigata Station, this Hotel is in a really convenient location and offered excellent value for money. We drove our hire car in (the Orix return spot was about one block away, parking at the Hotel was free, in their basement) and caught the train back to Tokyo. The Hotel was very handy for that plus shopping and restaurants in the station complex.

1. Direct Link from Train station to Shopping Centre to Hotel, 2. Station area is vibrant, with restaurants, supermarkets, electronics, 100 yen shops, konbini etc 3. Room size is comfortable for family of 3

There is a sliding door for the window,it blocks the sunlight as curtains are not blackout. Very delicious breakfast.

The location is extremely convenient. You can reach the hotel from Niigata station by walking through a shopping mall. There are plenty of food and shopping nearby, such as MOS burger/3 Coins/Bic Camera in the shopping mall just next door.

“Great value stay right near the station...try the breakfast!”
I always like staying at Art Hotels and this was no exception. A really friendly check in and some great amenities available in the self serve area - try the apple tea! The room was a little smaller than we are used to at Art Hotels but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved looking across the square at the people of Niigata going about their day. The breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed trying the local specialties - including the sake.

Hotel is located near the train staition (could be said directly at it). Some reviewers said that sounds from the station were annoying but we didn't hear any. The room was small but we didn't have an issue with that. The bed was big and comfortable. We appreciated the hangers for the coats near the entrance.

Nice location next to the station, staff were very helpful and the self check in is very convenient.
