“Incredible, Amazing....Highlight of our Stay!”

We were pleasantly surprised at how cozy and beautiful our chalet was! Esp for the price we paid for it. Our hosts Willian and her husband were so sweet and friendly, it felt like they were our neighbors. They even provide 2 bicycles for guests to use, free of charge. The chalet itself is indeed small (ideal for 2 people, max 3) but very well stocked. We especially loved the fully furnished kitchen because we cooked our own meals a lot during our stay. The view from the porch is incredible, esp in the morning! A special highlight was being able to borrow their kayak. We hauled it to the river (just across the road) and had a relaxing evening paddle through the town, absolutely a must try!

Absolutely fantastic place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The chalet was superb, had everything you need extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. The location is great for getting out to see the sights, Keukenhof, Haarlem and Amsterdam are all easy to get to. There is an absolutely fabulous local garden centre with is well worth a look but allow a few hours as it’s massive! The place is quintessentially Dutch, the canals the houses and the lovely people. We would definitely stay again. We have traveled all over the Netherlands and this is by far my favourite area.
