“Best stay ever”

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Maison1686. The room was modern and stylish, with brand-new furniture and a super comfortable bed. The amenities were top-notch and really high-tech. Breakfast was prepared personally by the owner, who was always there to chat and make us feel welcome. It was such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The village itself was charming and authentic, with a lovely church and a very convenient location. Getting around by car was easy, and the free parking was definitely a plus. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

The room was beautifully renovated with really comfortable beds. Christina took very well care of us and was truly pro active when it came to recommendation and booking of a restaurant. Great breakfast in a seating where we quickly find ourselves socializing with the other guests.

This place is amazing. The building is fantastic, the room huge and comfy, the decor is stylish and tasteful. Cristina (the owner) prepares a phenomenal breakfast - I don't know where she finds the time - and is also a fountain of local knowledge and tips, and utterly charming. She puts lots of thought and effort into every aspect of the stay; even considering who sat where at breakfast so the English-speakers would be adjacent, that sort of thing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome by Cristina and her wonderful smile. Her genuine interest and enthusiasm was lovely! We only stayed here for one night passing by from Italy to Belgium but wow! This b&b is amazing: a combination of how Cristina made us feel and the beautifully renovated b&b. Our jaw dropped when we saw our room. So beautiful, and full of comfort with a very good mattress and a bath! The breakfast was amazing. With some charcuterie and fromages to some baked good, fresh fruit, cornflakes and yoghurt, all super fresh! We were also surprised about the region so we might come back during october/november time as we were told it is beautiful with all of the orange leaves. Thank you for having us Cristina, you are born for this!

Stupendous! Recently renovated Maison located in a very quiet small town and a few minutes drive from the main attractions of the place. New room, very spacious and equipped with every comfort, delicious and abundant breakfast. The owner, Cristina, has been able to put us at ease, pamper us and help us in everything we needed. We had a really great time and can't wait to go back!

Fabulous host! Very well thought out and beautifully renovated accommodation. We were in the upper floor of a converted barn, everything was very modern but in keeping with the lovely old building. Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend this place and would happily return whenever we are nearby.
