Overview
Surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps, Hotel Austria is 50 metres from the Markbachjoch Ski Area. It offers a cosy lounge with an open fireplace, an indoor pool, a sauna, and a restaurant serving traditional and international cuisine. Decorated with rustic wood-furnishings, the rooms feature a seating area with a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. All rooms have a balcony offering a view of the surrounding Alpine landscape. Hotel Austria has a terrace offering scenic mountain views. Buffet breakfast and free private parking are also available. The wellness area also features a steam room and 2 infrared saunas. You can find a library and an elevator on site. Ski equipment can be rented on site and a sports shop is located in the hotel's building. Wi-Fi is available against a surcharge. Schatzberg Ski Area is located 7 km away, and can be reached by a free ski bus directly from the hotel. Cross-country trails are situated in front of the hotel. Hotel guests receive the Wildschönau Card free of charge. This card comprises many benefits in winter and summer, such as admission to local museums, guided hikes, use of the cable cars, access to the public swimming pool in summer and much more.

“Okay - but spa opening hours only if you are not skiing”
Close to the slopes and lift. Spacious room with the balcony . Nice bed , I slept well. Style and furnitures are from 90.

Lovely family run hotel. Very clean and comfortable with very warm hospitality. The food was very healthy and delicious. The in house ski shop staff and facilities were excellent. It is very close to the main ski lifts and ski schools. We had such a lovely and comfortable stay. Very well run by the manager. A lot of repeat customers, both summer and winter.
