Overview
This guesthouse is located directly on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon in Nida, about a 20-minute walk away from the beach. Prie Mariu offers a very quiet location between the pine forest and the lagoon, away from every kind of traffic. The spacious rooms are furnished with lots of natural wood and offer all amenities. Most rooms have beautiful views of the lagoon. Some also have a balcony. The rooms are spread over 3 buildings. The Thomas Mann Museum, preserving the former summer residence of the famous author, and the Amber Museum are close to the Prie Mariu. The beautiful natural landscape of the Curonian Spit offers ideal opportunities for hiking and cycling. The High Dune is Europe’s second-highest dune.

“Peaceful, tranquil and a gorgeous view over the lagoon”
We finish of the room was really high, the bed in particular was exceptionally comfortable and we both slept incredibly well. On site parking is always appreciated and the location itself was wonderful, a short 20 minute walk into the main town area so it was quiet on a night time. The team were super friendly and knew a lot about the local area and even acknowledged our anniversary, which was very sweet of them. Breakfast was glorious. Easily the best breakfast we had in Lithuania and we both ate so much we felt sick - 100% worth it. They even make their own homemade jam 💕

“A fab short stay in an exceptional location. Right up there with the best”
Excellent location on the Curonian Spit, excellent everything! We arrived very early in the season, so it was quiet. As 'grown-ups' that suited us, but I think it will get busier later on. It is not a resort (which is partly why we liked it so much), but it is somewhere to stay longer. The staff/owners spoke fluent English and could not have been more helpful. Nida town is walking distance away and has all the shops/restaurants you could need. There is an amazing sundial on the hill just out of town. We drove to the hotel from Kaunas. On the Spit the road was single carriageway and reasonably well maintained. The ferry crossing from Klaipeda was short and frequent, so no queuing for us. Maybe that changes later in the season. The Curonian Spit has lots to see and do.

The view from the room was lovely, spacious bedroom. Comfortable bed, it was pleasant in the room and would stay there again. Beach towel available even though we didn’t use it.

“Relaxing, peaceful and a great location”
The location was fantastic, nice walk along the waterfront, plenty of wildlife and a choice of different coffee shops and restaurants, at night it was great to have a a room close to the sea front. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices, and the staff very pleasant and helpful and yes I would stay again 😁👍

Charming little guesthouse at the outskirts of Nida. Multiple bike hire stations nearby - as the best way to get around. Lovely staff and good breakfast. Terrasse for guests to enjoy and rooms with balcony are particularly nice for leisurely evenings.

Prie Mariu has a very nice localisation and it is situated in a house very characteristic for this place. Breakfast is really good including coffee. The hosts are kind.

“Amazing stay!”
Our stay at Prie Marių in Nida was truly unforgettable! The location is absolutely amazing – peaceful, serene, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel has such a charming, traditional look from the outside, but the interior is warm, cozy, and beautifully designed. We had a spacious room with a balcony, which was incredibly convenient and had everything we needed. What made our stay even more special was the thoughtful surprise from the staff – a bottle of wine to celebrate our recent wedding! It was such a lovely and personal gesture. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We absolutely loved it here and are so grateful for the wonderful experience. It was a very special trip for us, and they made it even more memorable!
