Overview
Located in the city centre of Nice and directly opposite the Acropolis International Convention Centre, Novotel Nice Centre Vieux Nice offers air-conditioned rooms. It also features an outdoor swimming pool on the roof with a panoramic view of the city, a solarium and a terrace. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Promenade du Paillon. Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout. All rooms have a contemporary décor and feature an en suite bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a desk and a safe. A mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of water and tea and coffee making facilities are offered daily. Guests have a choice of 4 types of breakfast served everyday, which can be eaten on the terrace. The buffet breakfast includes bread, pastries, fresh orange juice, cheese, cooked meats as well as hot and cold meals. Guests can also enjoy a drink or snack in the hotel’s bar or Mediterranean cuisine made with local produce in Le Pois Chiche, and in the summer time there is a bar open by the pool. At night, guests can enjoy fresh cuts of cooked meats and cheese boards.The bar, restaurant and reception area were all renovated in May 2017. A seasonal bar is available on the roof, next to the swimming pool. Other facilities at the hotel include meeting rooms and a games area for children. Nice Airport is 8.5 km from this Novotel. The Promenade des Anglais and the Massena Place are accessible by tram, with the nearest tram stop, Palais des Expositions, situated 240 metres away. Nice Old Town and the Chagall Museum are a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Public parking is available for an extra charge opposite the hotel.

“Friendly staff but old facility”
Convenient location next to the bus stop and tram station. Very nice restaurant with sofa in both inside and outside, free water service, and friendly and kind staff at the reception.

“Wonderful staff, food and location”
A lovely; well thought out hotel in an ideal location. Excellent breakfast. Great food served in the resteraunt. The staff are multi-lingual and friendly. I enjoyed the fact that there is a water cooler on each floor and well signed, easily accessible stairs to avoid waiting for the elevators. The view from the terrace is great. The pool is cool and refreshing on a hot day.

Breakfasts, also had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. Perfect location for Palais des Expositions, some convenient local shops, and a very short hop on the tram to the old town. Nice park over the road. Great staff.

They changed the room from a family room with 3 beds to a 1 bed room prior to my arrival. They had no other options, didn't offer any meaningful help. Incredible. Didn't think to contact me ahead of the change to inquire on whether this was or not either.
