Overview
Hotel des Dames is 100 metres from the Palais des Expositions and the Acropolis Centre. It is 300 metres from the old town and a short tram ride from the beach in Nice. Free WiFi is available. Guest rooms at Hotel des Dames are individually decorated to celebrate the lives of famous women. Each room include a small bathroom, a TV and a mini fridge. A continental breakfast of fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurt and pastries can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or on the patio, weather permitting. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Hotel des Dames is just 500 metres from the port and close to the Modern Art Museum, theatre and old town.

“Nice in my mind”
The hotel is in a wonderful location, very convenient—just 10 minutes from the Old Town, close to the central square, the train and bus stations, a park, and all the places I needed to visit. The room is comfortable and has everything you need for a stay, with a traditionally small bathroom, like in a French hotel. It was exceptionally clean, and the linens were changed every day. The hotel has an artistic design inspired by various famous women. The restaurant is very pleasant. There is plenty of information available. The front desk and staff are very courteous; they explain things, help out, and are friendly. The door is locked at night. The neighborhood is quiet. An iron or hair dryer is available upon request. A wonderful place, and I highly recommend it.

“Value for Money option in Nice.”
I was upgraded from a single bed room to a double so had more space which was nice. Overall feel of the room was good. Everything seemed to work OK. When I was not sure how to use the soap dispenser the man on reception explained to me without a problem. Location wise it is a five minutes walk to the shopping centre with a big supermarket. The train station Nice Riquier is a ten minute walk away.

The location is excellent, close to the Old Town and the Promenade, everything is within walking distance. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed every day – excellent service.

Perfect hotel! Stylish, clean and neat, with friendly staff who are always helpful. Good breakfast and great location – just a 10-minute walk to the Old Town and 20 minutes to the Promenade.
