Its biggest advantage is the location—within walking distance of Nice Ville station, making it extremely easy to explore the French Riviera and take day trips to places like Monaco, Cannes, and Èze. The hotel is also close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, which made getting around very convenient. The rooms are simple, clean, and functional, offering everything needed for a comfortable short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and check-in was smooth and efficient. If you’re looking for a centrally located, budget-friendly hotel in Nice and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city and surrounding areas, Hotel de Berne offers good value and convenience.

Very good location, very close to the train station. Also, supermarket, very good restaurant, uniqlo etc near the hotel. Matress and pillows eeeexxxxtraaa comfortable. We slept extremly good. Room very small, but has everything you need, including AC. It was also very clean.

The hotel appears to have been renovated recently, although some work is still ongoing. Overall, everything was great, the shower worked perfectly, there was a table where you could eat something, a coffee machine with capsules, a mini fridge, and a hairdryer in the room. One thing to note is that toiletries are only provided on arrival and were not replenished daily during my stay. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket right across the street, the central train station just a few steps away, and the Promenade within walking distance. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and services nearby. The hotel lobby has vending machines for coffee and drinks, which is a nice extra. They also offer luggage storage, which is very useful. It's a perfect and affordable base for exploring the French Riviera. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I had a very pleasant stay. I would happily stay here again. Overall, a very good stay and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the center of the city nearby the main train station and the most popular attraction areas are 20-30 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

“Modern, good value hotel conveniently located for Nice Ville train station”

We stayed twice at this hotel when travelling from and to Paris. The location for the train station (only a couple of minutes' walk away) and the reasonable price are particular benefits of this hotel, especially when arriving late and leaving early. There is a Monoprix supermarket opposite as well as various cafes and restaurants in the area. The rooms we stayed in were nicely decorated and for the most part clean (the bin on our first visit had not been emptied from the previous guests and on our second visit the bin could have done with a bit of a scrub). The first night we stayed our room was on the top floor in the eaves of the building so for most of the room we had to bend down to avoid banging our heads. We are average height and could just about make it work but if you're particularly tall, I would recommend your asking the hotel for a room on a lower floor. The rooms at the front can be noisy at night so if a light sleeper, I would recommend asking for a room towards the back of the building away from the main road. Overall this is a good option for an overnight stay close to the train station.

Helpful and very friendly staff, and an excellent location just a few minutes from the train station. The room was small but really comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet despite our room being located on the busy boulevard side of the building. We plan to stay again in a few weeks.
