Boat ride

Your property is close to perfect. Starting at the friendly reception and the view of giraffes on arrival. The gardens are neat and full of birds! The swimming pool is not to cold and the pool loungers with the big umbrellas were perfect for afternoons. Your rooms are just amazing. The best view of the Chobe river with every thing in luxury. The mosquito nets ons rails is a great invention for comfort. Everything was amazing. From food to games drive and swimming. We will visit again.

“Magical Sunset 🌅”

Beautiful camp 🏕️ with all the rooms along the Chobe River. The only downside was that there isn’t much water this time of the year but it’s stills a worth a visit. The room pretty much had everything you would need(amazing interior 🥰), from the tea/coffee station to umbrellas in case of rain(nice touch). Beautiful views of the river in every room including the bathroom 🚽. We stayed for one night but would recommend for anyone to do a minimum of two nights to really enjoy the place. They had Gin waiting for us in the room with ice and Tonic in the fridge. 👌🏽 Perfect Sundowner on the deck of the room.

“Luxury perfection”

The camp is very beautiful and very luxurious. Warm welcome, extremely beautiful cabin with lots of privacy and comfort. Gin and tonics with ice were waiting for us in the room. Very good dinner and breakfast. Superb views over Chobe river towards Botswana. Best of all were the manager and the staff. They all put their heart and soul in the place. Everything’s very well run. Staff are cheerful and work very hard to make your stay perfect. We were even treated to a performance by the entire staff.

“Stunning camp and location !”

The location was simply incredible right on the river . The Camp was stunning , rooms like a 5 star luxury hotel( even though they were permanent tents ) each had its own deck to watch sunset or sunrise . We did the 4pm sunset cruise which was something out of a movie . We saw crocs , elephants , hyenas and elephants , and hippos. The boat is small and held maybe 10-20 people , and the channels narrow it meant we could get right up close . From the camp you look into Chobe .

“Great place to stay”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room had the most amazing view, through large picture windows, of the Chobe river. The border and entry into Chobe NP was close. Used the boat safaris while we there. Any issues were quickly and efficiently dealt with. Highly recommend.

“Overnight stay”

Unfortunately we just stayed for one night at this beautiful, very new chalets at the Chobe River. We just were on our drive through from Botswana to Namibia. We enjoyed the very good dinner and breakfast next morning. We really can recommend this place.

Here is the updated review: "We spent two nights at Chobe River Camp in a cottage, the first one right next to the swimming pool. The house was fantastic with a view of the river. The amenities were wonderful and everything was well-maintained and clean. The dinner buffet cost 395 Namibian dollars. We did the sunset boat cruise twice because it was so incredibly beautiful and the guide provided good information. The cruise was even more special with nice snacks and drinks included - one day we enjoyed a G&T and the other day we opted for white wine. The cruise cost 505 Namibian dollars per person. The staff at the restaurant and reception could be a bit friendlier and more emotional. Otherwise, this accommodation is an absolute dream and we would love to come back anytime."

Fabulous place on the Chobe river with expansive views of Chobe National Park, including from the lovely deck outside our tent/chalet. Stayed as a one night stop over but had we known how wonderful the place is we'd had have stayed longer

Beautiful location, and the refurbished rooms are fantastic! Great river views, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lounge and pool areas are nice. Staff is very friendly and dinner really good. In the middle of nature with Great bird and animal views. Great place to stay and good value for money..beautiful!

“Great stay”

The camp has recently been refurbished and upgraded. Loved it. Had elephants strolling right in front of our hut. Food was great, loved the restaurant, camp - all of it.

The camp just got renovated- they are still working but no effects on our stay. The new tents are so nice and modern. You see giraffes, elephants, zebras, crocodiles, etc.(and lots of kettle) from your tent. AC working very well. Pool area and service nice, dinner fantastic.

Tent was very leaky and we had heavy rain. Camp Game Drive vehicle was not allowed into Chobe National Park.
