“Unforgettable experience!”

We stayed at Villa Chanalu for 12 days and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and completely at home. The villa itself is stunning, decorated with incredible taste, love, and attention to detail. You can feel Nathalie’s passion in every corner of the property; absolutely everything has been carefully thought through and perfected down to the smallest details. The culinary experience was also a daily delight. Breakfast is generous and delicious, and the meals are simply fantastic. Even with a set menu, everything is possible and nothing is ever too much to ask. What truly makes Villa Chanalu so special, however, are the people. The staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. Nathalie and Arnaud are always there for you and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. A spontaneous snack, arranging a taxi, or organizing an excursion — everything is handled with the same enthusiasm and care. Despite being far from home, you immediately feel at home. The villa is also ideally located for discovering the beautiful lagoons, going on a safari at Bandia Reserve, visiting Dakar, Île de Gorée, and many other wonderful places in the region. Villa Chanalu has become a place we will never forget.

It was absolutely stunning, food delicious, rooms exceptional, owners and staff friendly but respecting privacy. It was really a true boutique hotel. We also did there some beautiful local cruft shopping in their atelier and all was just perfect.

Beautiful rooms and common space, impeccably clean with attention to detail and design, everything feels good and smells good - you never want to leave. Nathalie and her family and staff are wonderful hosts and make you feel at home. Excellent food.

Great and very personal b&b, beautiful rooms, great garden and pool, perfect location. Also felt totally safe in the area night and day. We loved the heated pool and had some delicious meals at the hotel. Internet was fast and stable, bed was large and comfortable.
