The place is centrally located in stone Town, close to the Ferry docking. A walk through stone town is so easy and takes a short time. Secondly, the i appreciated the cleanliness in the Hotel and the Rooms. Good place for short stay for a couple.

Easy location, 8mins walk to central StoneTown and the beach.. Air conditioning worked well and hot water Large beds Breakfast - fresh fruit, eggs of your choice and a few local things. They kindly got watermelon for our son also Staff were very sweet Note that parking is free 2 mins from the hotel off the main road

The gentleman at the desk was lovely and polite, l also got the privilege of meeting the owner, for the hotel, she actually surprised me with hug a 🫂 which has never happened to me before from a Muslim woman, so that was delightful to receive on arrival. The building is quite ancient but the bedrooms are modern and clean.. The location is perfect, your right next to all the hustle and bustle but you cannot hear a thing from your bedroom, perfect location for walking to everything you need bars restaurants etc. A special shout out to the man in the picture he was so helpful making sure when go out at night that l would get back in very easy as the front door closes at night..he also managed to arrange me going over to Matemwe as communicating was a bit tricky at times. Thank you brother.

Nice hotel located at the old town on Zanzibar, not far away from the taxi station and the Darajani market. The rooms were nice and clean, beds comfortable, delicious breakfast. The staff excellent, but most of all we loved the reception girl Zahara!

Friendly and always endeavoured staff. Breakfast was for us totally sufficient. Good mattress. Nice view from the balcony.

The location was hard to find and very dirty area around the place. The room was not very clean, pretty old and outdated. The room smelled bad. Very small room, no place to open you luggage but big bed. Also very noisy neighbourhood

We had a short stay, but the big and comfy bed was exactly what we needed after a long day. The restaurant downstairs was under construction, so we had breakfast in the room — and we totally didn’t mind that! It was also very tasty. Thank you for the very friendly approach and warm welcome to Zanzibar.

Great location, very central. It's a really interesting building, loads of history. Lovely host, very informative. There was a problem with the air-conditioning unit in our room, and they changed our room instantly, with no question. Nice breakfast, not the biggest of choices, but what we had was very nice.

“Charming small hotel in the heart of Stone Town”

Fantastic location little hidden in the less touristy street of the old Stone Town, Aurelia is set in an atmospheric old building. We had a charming and spacious room on the top floor with balcony overlooking the rooftops. You can hear people on the street and the mosque prayers which add the experience. The four poster bed was huge and comfortable and we slept well. Big bathroom and the cold water was sufficient. Friendly staff and breakfast included in the price. All in all good value. We’d stay again, thank you!

Location was great. Breakfast was basic, but different every day. Great resturant oppisite hotel. Cooldrinks and water for sale in voyer of hotel, which was great. Wifi was great and aircon also.
