The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The staff, both two-legged and four-legged, were very friendly. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The hotel lounge was also very cozy. The self-service bar is a good idea.

We had a wonderful stay at lovely Disblair House. It is beautifully furnished in a charming Victorian style, which creates a very warm and special atmosphere. Karolyn and Chris are incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly care a lot about their guests. The breakfast they prepare is exceptional – very delicious, varied, and generous.

“Great find”
The owners were lovely. Nothing would be a problem if you needed it. You receive a warm welcome and feel right at home. You're able to sit in a lounge with an open fire with a honestly bar.

Karolyn and Chris were so warm and welcoming. We truly felt like we were the most important people at the hotel and nothing was too much effort. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was amazing. Hoping we have an excuse to go back to the area so we can stay there again soon!

From the moment we arrived,we were made to feel so welcome. The house is full of character and nothing was too much trouble for Karolyn and Chris,they really made us feel at home and accommodated us perfectly. The room was spacious and comfortable-we all had a great night's sleep, including Maisy the dog. Having access to the bar and lounge was ideal, especially after a few hours at the Christmas market. Love the honesty box idea at the bar,that was a great touch.The breakfast the next day was outstanding. So many options and all cooked perfectly,we really enjoyed it. Amazing value for money and we can't wait to come back,thank you!
