Overview
This historic boutique hotel is set in the heart of central New Westminster, British Columbia and features an on-site restaurant and liquor store along with easy access to popular attractions. Originally built in 1892, the Met Hotel combines old-world charm with today's modern conveniences, including free wireless internet access and in-room flat-screen TVs. Guests at the hotel can also enjoy free morning coffee service as well as completely non-smoking accommodation. The Met offers guests a 10% discount for the Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen - New West, the hotel's on-site dining. It features a sports-bar atmosphere and a variety of menu choices. The Met Liquor Store is on-site and provides a large selection of wine, beer and spirits. Only a short stroll from the Met Hotel is the Skytrain rapid transit system, which provides easy access to local points of interest including Vancouver city centre. The New Westminster Quay Public Market as well as the scenic Fraser River is also easily accessible.

Amazing staff and service. Very prompt communication and helped me with any questions I had. The rooms where very clean. And I love the vibe! The lounge on our floor was so cute! I had issues with the shower running cold even with only the hot water on but the gentleman at the front desk when I checked out appreciated the feedback as that is an issue they thought they recently fixed. The only down side to this place is the parking.

“Cute spot conveniently located yet out of the way, would stay again!”
I loved the location, being so close to a sky train stations and the iconic quay were important to me. The place was cute with a good layout. The place was also very quiet, I wasn't able to hear neighbours through the walls!

“Great location and excellent staff”
Close to sky train and road network, it saved me a lot of time moving around. Bar next door was ideal for getting a late breakfast or a tipple in the evening. Parking across the street was spacious.
