“Overall, the idea is good, and it's great that the guys preserved the building. But it's not well-maintained and”
1. The place is truly unique, you can immerse yourself in the last century. 2. Lots of space, it's essentially an apartment with a bedroom and a living room. 3. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, very convenient when traveling with children. 4. Price. This was the cheapest offer for our dates. 5. We were checked in two hours early, for which we are very grateful to the hotel staff. 6. The staff is very polite, we received a bottle of wine as a compliment from the hotel. 7. The building is ancient, there are lots of interesting little things, doors, etc. In my opinion, this is a great place for a quest room.

“EXCELLENT!”
Super comfortable rooms. The host downstairs was lovely and treated me really well. Best part? You basically get a whole apartment for the price of a hotel room. Definitely staying again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Risith

“Very disappointed”
We were so hopeful of a historic experience given the age of this building but unfortunately it in no way lived up to our expectations. Sadly the building and its furnishings have been allowed to deteriorate to a point where it feels more condemned than authentic. The furniture is worn to the point that it has tears in the upholstery and is in need of either replacement or restoration. The flooring (rugs) needs a deep clean as do the kitchen and the bathroom and pretty much all surfaces. The bed needs replacing and the towels need updating so they don’t feel like you are using something that you would use when washing your dog. The place just felt dirty. With some honest care and appropriate upgrading this could truly be a magnificent old building. Having said that you cannot change the location. Being right next to the skytrain was extremely loud but to be fair we knew that when we booked. The most troubling and heartbreaking thing for us was the unbelievable amount of homeless people at both the front and rear entrances to the property. I know this is in no way the fault of this property but it made for an uncomfortable experience when there was drug paraphernalia laying in front of the doorway. At least have it removed for the health and safety of your customers. As much as we loved the idea of living in such a historic place we left after 1 night of a 2 night booking and found somewhere else to stay.

“Good location and lots of character in this funky hotel”
The staff were friendly and shared the history of the building which added to the charm. The room was funky with cool artwork and an old world style feel. It was nice a close to the Sky Train station to be able to get around town.

“Our stay was comfortable and the price was reasonable.”
The decor matches the building, which has been kept as an Edwardian building.

“Cute little Home away from Home”
I love the atmosphere of this hotel. It really feels like a home away from home. The location is also exceptional! It is not ideal if you need a very quiet room, as these units are right on the skytrain line. But they are gorgeous little apartments and we only stay at this hotel when we visit the mainland.

“Loved this facility see photos of sunset from my window”
I loved the staff , location and value for money . I suggest the facility provide cleaning materials and equipments - the weekly clean up was not sufficient .. I think it was just overwhelming for very hard working young people .. once in a while a professional clean would be great . Staff Were very responsive , the facility is close to Westminster sky train station , the river market and ideal for 3 minutes walk to the river .. loved my time

The sheer architecture and all the adornments has you living somewhat in the early 1900s. The Check in process was easy, the staff amazing and the owner a real gem. This place is by far the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in and the value was phenomenal. Every room is an entire 1 bedroom apartment loaded with anything you would need for a comfortable stay that feels like home. The Antique lift is fun and beautiful. The building is secure. Located right in the downtown core of New Westminster everything you need for food, shopping and transit options is within 1 block walking distance. A real hidden gem if I ever found one.

“Warm, comfortable and lost in time.”
I love this hotel and actually booked this visit specifically to stay here, not for anything else in the area. These "rooms" are really apartments frozen in time, with hardwood floors, wallpaper, curtains, decorative plates and warm lighting. A full kitchen, gas stove, cupboards for days and even a clawfoot enamel bathtub, Watching a VHS movie and listening to the faint hiss of the radiators warming your back is something that takes me back to my own childhood and you simply do not find anywhere else.

“Great space but requesting service made you feel like a burden and unsafe location”
They have embraced the theme of the early 1900s. The space is great: full kitchen and living room.
