“Cosy little lodge”
King size bed is massive and the pillows are like clouds! Great that the room has a fridge and also lots of coffee and hot chocolate. Great amenities in the bathroom including ear plugs! Location is superb, a short 5 min walk into the town area.

This is a super cute place. Staff are wonderful. Pool is great. Our room was upstairs and had everything we needed. We were only booked for 1 night but decided to stay 3 & just do a day trip to San Antonio instead. We were so pleased we decided that as we loved our time in Gruene & at the cottages. We walked down to the centre which is an easy 10 min walk. Once you cross the road there's a short path then a walkway the rest of the way.

“Our stay at Gruene Cottages was like staying at a home away from home.”
Beyond meeting all of our needs, we loved the atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the space. My wife thoroughly appreciated the cleanliness. As the husband, I appreciated the straight forward management of them place. No nonsense, no drama, no surprises. The quality, cleanliness, and simplicity helped me to be in a relaxed state the moment I walked in our room

They didn’t provide breakfast. The location was great..it was close to everywhere we needed to be.
