“Great host and facilities”

Lovely host with great facilities unfortunately we didn't have time to use the lovely pool, Julie and her daughter Lisa were so lovely and made us feel at home, lovey safe place to park my motorcycle would definitely return.

“Magnifique”

We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay at La Roseraie which is a short walk from the town centre and all it's amenities. Julie is a first class hostess and very friendly, we especially liked her little messages each morning. The bed was extremely comfortable, great shower and bathroom and the breakfast was amazing and a little different each day. The pool was lovely and clean with sunshades and we enjoyed eating our picnics in the garden. Thank you for your lovely charming hospitality Julie we hope to return one day.

The owner spoke fantastic English and was really nice. Great rooms, lovely swimming pool and good breakfast. Jazz festival within two minutes walking in the village. Stayed for one night on our way to Bilbao and it was an excellent start of our holiday!

It was in a nice location . The owner Julie was lovely. She was so helpful and you can see her love for the business in all the nice little touches around the chateau. She cooked us an evening meal which was delicious especially the plum crumble . So yummy !!! The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and the homemade jam delicious. Thank you Julie for a memorable stay .

Atmospheric old house, warm welcome

“Short n sweet, maybe a little too pricy for what I used of it.”

Well it was clean and the host welcoming. Had air con and a fan which was much needed. Pool was good to refresh after a longish ride.

We were met by a cheery and welcoming proprietor who explained the workings of the accommodation, which was clean and beautifully designed without being intimidating. An unexpected surprise was a fully laid breakfast room with as much choice as anyone could want., The proprietor saw to her guests needs before leaving get the children to school. I have paid a lot moire for a lot less in other places in France. After a very hot drive from Calais it was a welcome cool overnight stay.

“Superb”

Julie has created an absolutely lovely place to stay, situated in a beautiful location. Her attention to detail and homeliness is super. Quite quirky and individual, in an engaging and enjoyable way, yet also comfortable and very relaxing. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

We were received with a very warm welcome. The facilities and timings for breakfast were clearly explained. The room was comfortable and the ensuite was perfect. The private seating space outside the room was a bonus. Excellent advice from the host with regard to local places to eat. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the guidance notes at our table were a nice touch
