“Beautiful historic and quaint”

The hotel/castle was beautiful. The greeting was lovely and simplistic It was a very relaxed stay with no pressure The swimming pool and sauna was welcome The history and feel to the hotel and grounds was amazing The town is quaint and quiet. The drive to the hotel is mountainous and beautiful

“Awful”

We stayed there for 3 nights and not once did we have proper housekeeping. We were out all day for work and when we returned in the evening we noticed that bins weren't emptied, dirty glasses weren't replaced, no fresh water, no new tea bags, no toilet paper - nothing. When I called to complain reception said that nobody from housekeeping was there which we get in the evening but no help was offered either. The next day our bins were emptied and we got new towels and everything else was left as is. Tons of dirty glasses and cups were left, no new toilet roll - nothing - we were left to our own devices. It was the worst we have ever experienced!

A Beautiful castle in a tranquil location. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with charming antique furniture. The buffet breakfast offered a wide choice of freshly prepared and good quality products. The evening 3 course dinner provided generous portions of exceptionally well prepared local dishes. Staff were attentive and most helpful.

Unique experience sleeping in a castle. Comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Castle located directly along Flöhatal path for walking and cyxcling. Staff and swrvice exceptional. Open areas to enjoy the castle's interior and old furniture and architecture.

Restaurant food was good.

The rooms were large and the shower was great. The restaurant was very good, & the staff were very friendly.

The breakfast room is very beautiful, the breakfast was a good German standard. Especially the Brötchen were tasty. Staff is running back and forth the whole time, attending to the guests. The rooms and bedding were very clean.

Location, efficient after-hours notification, no crowds, peace and quiet, a large and comfortable apartment.

First of all I will write that we would love to come back. The hotel offers a very good breakfast with quality ingredients. I think everyone will find something for themselves. The selection can always be wider, but it suited us. The experience was a dinner that was really excellent, well thought out in taste in a beautiful place. Contrary to some reviews, we didn't mind that we had to go out into the winter in the morning and evening, actually the food was always associated with a small walk. The staff was very helpful and smiling. The castle has an atmosphere, and the fact that it is a bit shabby somewhere is part of it.
