Overview
Situated next to the Balcón de Europa viewing point in Nerja, the Mena Plaza hotel offers rooms with free WiFi and a pool with sea views. The rooms are decorated and have satellite TV. Staff are lovely. Always pleasant and helpful. Fab location, rooms ate basic but good size and great balcony. Have stated here many times and always great. Lovely rooftop pool with plenty of sunbeds and a bar with an amazing bar man, lovely man, makes a great Pina Colada 👍🏼😀Booking again asap.

“Fantastic hotel in great location”
The Mena Plaza is in an excellent position very close to the central Balcon and so near to many of the towns restaurants. Our room and balcony overlooked the Plaza and was very comfortable light and airy. Everything worked perfectly including aircon, shower and the lift up to the 3rd floor. The breakfast was the same every morning but it was a lovely selection including fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereal as well as eggs, bacon, beans etc. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we particularly enjoyed the cafe attached to the hotel for snacks and drinks. We have usually rented an apartment on the Plaza but this time very much enjoyed our hotel stay.

“Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location”
The location is perfect central and in a buzzing plaza. I was also very happy to get a room with a balcony overlooking the square. The rooms are modern comfortable and very clean with a little fridge to keep water etc and the pool and sun terrace on the roof was fabulous with great views of the sea and a little bar which was really really cheap for drinks. Travelled on my own to do a 5 day Spanish language course and I felt very safe

“Excellent location”
Fantastic location. Our room overlooked the square and as we were on the top floor we had a great view of the sea. Rooftop swimming pool was good with plenty of sunbeds and a bar plus amazing views. Second time we have stayed here and would love a return visit. Breakfast was OK but next time we will opt for breakfast in the cafe bar on the ground floor. Had a problem on the last day with the air con but staff did their best to sort it out.
