“Looking forward to coming back”

We stayed in the Beach House and had a wonderful weekend. The main reason I chose this stay was the hot tub. I was a bit worried it might not be working, so I reached out in advance and was happy to have it confirmed that everything was fine. The hot tub ended up being the highlight of the trip for our kid. It was clean, hot and we spent two evenings relaxing there. The outdoor lighting and all the surrounding plants made it feel incredibly cosy and peaceful. The house had everything we needed for cooking: a gas stove, BBQ, large pots, salt and pepper, foil and more. It was also well stocked with toiletries and household essentials. Every room, including the living room, had air conditioning and extra blankets, so we stayed warm and comfortable despite the winter weather. Laundry was available for a small fee, although we didn't end up needing it. We also enjoyed walking to the beach and exploring the property, including the beautiful rainforest trails.

Calm and peaceful location but do easy to get everywhere. Comfy beds had all the things you need for a short stay. Friendly Kookaburra we named Keith made us smile a lot!

“Liked the location, the trees and the privacy in Wanderers Retreat”

Had a great stay in Wanderers Retreat/Tree House. It's not too many cottages and not too close to each other, we couldn't hear or see the neighbours when sitting on the verandah. The big BBQ was also a great feature. We'd like to come back

It was beautiful, it was like staying in a rainforest the trees the plants it was so cool.

Lovely surrounds, was very relaxing to be surrounded by nature. Location was good - very close to one mile beach. The kookaburras were lovely to listen to - we also had a very cute and curious possum visitor. Pool was great for the kids - the small shallow area was perfect. The cottage was cosy and had a couple of useful amenities (salt/pepper etc) in the kitchen.
