“Peaceful little cabin”

Our stay in Nellim was absolutely wonderful, truly a 10/10 experience. We stayed in the smaller cabin, which was perfect for two people: cosy, beautifully set up, and incredibly peaceful. Even though it was unusually warm during our visit, our host Teija made sure we could still enjoy the winter landscape by providing us with snowshoes so we could walk on the frozen lake. When we had a small issue with the bathroom drainage due to clogged pipes, she took care of it immediately, which we really appreciated. Teija is the perfect host: warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind if you feel like connecting, yet equally respectful of your privacy if you just want to unwind and enjoy the quiet. One absolute highlight was enjoying the heated whirlpool at sunset every day, honestly one of the best experiences ever. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, had some of the best sleep we’ve ever had, and fully embraced the calmness and beauty of the surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, highly recommended!

The lake in front of the house, we get to see northern light just right in front of us, and jacuzzi were always on, it was very luxury experience to stay in this holiday home, we had a wonderful time here, highly recommend staying more than two nights!!

It was such a dream place. House, the host, Nellim😍 all fantastic! Possible to see auroras just above the house! Sauna, jakuzi, view from all windows, Nellim town and the house all are absolutely fabulous! The host is such a lovely person! Definitely recommend!

The location in the wilderness was picture perfect. The accommodation was fabulous, it had everything you could possible need. The jacuzzi was the best perk.

I loved Teija's home. the coziness, the cleanness, the comfort. The sauna and the jaccuzi are some of the highlights in that beautiful place. The view from the window is breathtaking.

“Great to stay for a relaxing time.”

The house is perfectly located at the lake, we were in December. For seeing Auroras is one of the best places!! We could saw them two nights in a row from the middle of the lake and even from inside the house. Also the house has a sauna and an incredible jacuzzi with amazing views! All in all we loved it here and hope to be able to come soon again. Teija is the best! We didn’t have a car so she organiced a taxi to pick us up and keep our luggage until we could go to the house to make the check in. She‘s incredible and took us to aurora hunting and snow shoeing through the woods, an amazing experience. She speaks sammi and even though we couldn‘t go to her cafe, because it was closed, she showed it to us. Thank you Teija for showing us your paradise!

“A Magical Nature Retreat – Perfect House, Unforgettable Experience!”

We had the pleasure of staying in the 2-bedroom house, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was clean, warm, and equipped with everything we needed to cook, a spacious sauna – we were four people, and it fit comfortably. The house also features two showers, a cozy fireplace, and comfortable beds, ensuring a relaxing stay. The kitchen and living area were perfect for gathering, with plenty of space to hang our coats and store our belongings. The location is absolutely magical, surrounded by nature. We loved having warm coffee on the lakeside deck, watching the stunning colours of the sunrise. The hot tub experience under the Northern Lights was unforgettable – it felt like a true hidden gem in the wild. The peace and quiet here is incredible, with nature all around you, making it a perfect retreat. Teija, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. She offers a variety of activities, although we didn’t take part in them as we had other plans already, but would definitely try next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return. I highly recommend this house and Teija – you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely home in a beautiful place

“Magical!”

Teija’s home is so beautiful and cosy. Sat right on the lake, it’s so idyllic. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights 3/3 nights we stayed here. Despite the weather forecast saying cloudy, it was starry and we even saw the strongest aurora ever! We loved walks along the lake, we did husky ride and spent the evenings outside aurora hunting for hours on end! The fire inside is cosy and it’s a lovely place to make your own food and play games! We went to Teija for dinner and to learn about her people, the Saami. We absolutely loved this and really recommend! We loved learning the history, and eating food foraged by Teija herself. We would definitely come back here! On the last night I lay in bed watching the aurora out of the window until 3am! It was so bright and could be seen from our bedroom facing the lake!

“The most wonderful stay in Lapland”

The place and the location were amazing. We were located at the edge of the lake, the view was breathtaking ! We were lucky enough to be able to see a reindeer coming several time just in front of our house !!! How lovely ! We felt like we were in our own home, not like just guests, because the house was really cozy and well equipeped, and our host was really devoted to us, really easy to contact if we needed anything. If you are looking to live the best time in Lapland, you should definitely go there !
