The owner and his staff - the meals and the relaxed atmosphere . Early morning tea to our room . Owner arranged the safari into Wilpattu National Park very smoothly and gave us a good boxed breakfast to take with us

We spent the night in a hut in the middle of a mango grove. Sometimes elephants even come there at night. The owner was very caring and always made sure that we were accompanied to the hut by a member of staff after dinner so that we wouldn't be in danger. The staff looked after our children very lovingly. We booked a safari there. It was very impressive. Our driver knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. It was a fantastic experience. I would recommend a full day safari as you see more and don't have to rush.

I had an epic time at the Mango Villa Willpattu followed by an unforgettable safari spotting 19 different animals! Dinner was exceptional! I felt very safe, welcome and accomdated. Money well spent!

“Fantastic stay and safari”

We stayed for 2 nights at the Mango Villa and we had a wonderful time there. We came late in the evening and they still could arrange a nice dinner at the villa for us. Next morning there was a breakfast ready exactly on time as we requested. We did a safari the next day which was the best! Very kind and helpful people.

“Great stay with super team for a smooth safari experience”

Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

“Great start to our trip”

Perfect location for a safari into Wilpattu. Ask for Senith as a guide, he has a passion for the wildlife and is very friendly too. Our accommodation was a tented room on stilts. They cooked us a fabulous dinner and supplied some beers too! Good air con, ok shower. Take snacks/drinks if you want them as nothing much around the area. Fabulous bird watching and butterflies in the garden.

“The best Wilpattu experience !”

Excellent accommodations. The rent we booked hosted 4 of us and had plenty of room. Washroom and bathroom was big and had good hot water ! The patio allowed us to relax in the evening. Kumara and Pravin were excellent cooks and chefs and we had some fantastic meals set outdoors by a fire! We also had a superb safari driver who took us to Wilpattu. And the highlight we seeing not one , but three Leopards! One about 20 feet! We all had the best time!
