“STAY AWAY! Host never was present for check in and told us he was full and to piss off”

I book online and it was confirm. They even message me to say they are looking forward to see me. I travel all the way from Kingston and when I reach I call them because I realize the gate was closed. I call the front desk because I didn’t see anyone to let me in they said they that they are full, I told them I made a reservation and it was confirm they said next time I should called i can’t confirm online. I was so upset I had to drive to Montego to stay with a relative and drive back to negril the next day to continue business. I wish I could give them a zero ratings. I even have a screen shot of the confirm message they sent to me.

Location was great . Very close to the 7 mile beach but also central , walking distance to Negril market. The host Mr Josef was very helpful.

I love the cottage. It is easy going and casual. Basic . But I felt secure there. Joseph the owner looks out for his guests. Opposite the cottage is a beautiful part of the beach reached by walking through the hotel opposite. My room had a nice bathroom with bath and shower. Two nice comfortable beds. Fridge too in the room. There is a shared kitchen too if you want to use it. I met some very nice people there. Nicer than a big hotel.

Great owner! Separate house! Convenient location! Respect! One Love!

This host could really do with a course in "Customer Relationships". Had no communications from them so telephoned a couple of days ahead of check-in date only to be advised that the property is closed for renovations therefore it was not available. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO BE LEFT STRANDED.

Very simple and quiet place to stay..Very reasonable rates.Clean and comfortable. Awesome beach!! Mr.Joseph a very nice person was of great help to us and we felt safe during our stay as well. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Westport Cottages.

call the host and the host advice me that the property is not available when i book the property through bookings.com and it says confirm then the host ask me to cancel on my end then i see if i cancel i would be charge $40 but the hsot did not want to cancel on his end.

Location is great, a few minutes from the beach. Joseph, the owner, is a great host. He is very helpful and you can tell that he loves meeting new people.

The host was really lovely, welcoming and accomodating. As soon as we arrived he gave us all the ins and outs about the community and what to look out for. The rooms were clean and tidy which made us right at home. The property was in a great location, only a two minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend staying here.

It was quite and James makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.

After calling the property to re confirm reservation. I was told to cancel my reservation on booking.com because they only cater for visitors to the island (Tourist not locals)
