“Relaxed stay in Negombo”

“A lovely little place.”

Simple and clean. Fair price. Great location. 10 minute walk from the main road with little spots around for food. Staff were friendly and relaxed. The little pool was perfect. You could float around and see cats whichever you turned because they rescue them here. I loved the little Bhudda in the corner of the villa, it was lit up and smiling. My plans changed last minute and Denis was very kind and accommodating. Nice spot!

Lovely place with close proximity to the beach, nice swimming pool, comfortable bed, simple but sufficient breakfast. Animal loving owners, place is full of rescued cats.

“A very nice place to stay in Negombo.”

The room was spacious and clean and had a fridge and balcony and very spacious bathroom with excellent shower. I loved the pool and the staff were super helpful.

Swimming pool, very friendly staff. Good breakfast and nice to be able to stay in the room for half the room rate until 6pm.

This is a very beautiful and calm space. Communication was easy and when our flight was delayed a late check in was made possible. The owner also helped us arrange further transportation. He is a kind soul, with many cats and one dog, all vaccinated and keeping their natural distance from the guests. The pool is clean and great for a dip. The beach is about 10 minutes walking distance and you get a high varity of shops an restaurants at 10-15min. We felt very safe even when walking home during the night. Despite of being located directly at the hamilton canal, we had no issues with mosquitos in our room.

After that we started our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka here, we also ended here because we liked the place a lot.

A small cute hotel with lots of cats in the garden (for those that like cats like me). Nice breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood.

“Good night's rest and nice location”

Good location. A good night's rest after a long flight. Lots of well looked after cats and a resident dog. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Slept well. Breakfast was good. The curd and honey was delicious.

“A perfect introduction to Sri Lanka”

This is honestly just a gorgeous property. The owners run it with real passion, and the whole place is beautifully decorated. The breakfast was brilliant - big up fresh bread - and you’re just a short walk to the beach and a road full of great bars and restaurants. It was a joy to see the rescued cats and dog who live on the property, who co-exist super peacefully with the guests (and of course, the rooms are pet free!) If I came back to Negombo I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at Villa Kapuru. The host was great and gave us a lot of advice about what to do and where to eat which all ended up to be great.

We really liked the place. The rooms were spacious and clean and the swimming pool was perfect to relax. Our 1,5 year old daughter enjoyed playing with the cats and looking at the fishes. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Perfect place to start or end your time in Sri Lanka.
