“Incredible service and wonderful stay”

We chose Villa Dominikku based on the location and amazing reviews after landing into Colombo late at night and honestly, the property did not disappoint! Dulshan is the most incredible host, he organised private airport transfers for us and was up and waiting to meet us with cold towels and welcome drinks despite our late arrival. He was also super helpful answering all my questions ahead of the trip. The room was spotless and very comfortable for our stay, and breakfast the next morning was absolutely incredible. Every detail is so thought out, you feel completely welcome and at home.

Beautifully set up and well maintained property in the suburban area of Negombo. Hosts were lovely, the room comfortable (firm bed) with a good en suite delicious and generous breakfast and it was a quick drive from the airport. Dulshan was super accommodating after we mistakenly booked the wrong dates and was very helpful in arranging a driver, both from the airport and to our next location.

“Great start to our Sri Lankan holiday!”

After a seamless airport pickup, we arrived at the beautiful villa located in a quiet laneway. Friendly hosts (Dulshan & Dilu) made us feel very welcome and gave us some helpful tips to set us up for a great holiday. Yummy breakfast - with a mix of continental and local dishes.

Amazing host family, so welcoming! Would highly recommend. Very comfortable room and great breakfast!

“Disappointment”

However, I have to commend them for willingly preparing us a delicious breakfast to take away. Since there was no room for the sober man in the empty hotel, we booked him into another hotel, which cost 1/4 the price and was incomparably better, and the owners were genuinely kind and helpful. There is construction work going on in the yard, which we didn't know about, so the surroundings were actually empty, because there were plastic sheets stretched out right in front of the room and there were probably various machines there...

The room was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable we’ve ever stayed in, and the whole home is absolutely stunning with so much attention to detail. Everything felt peaceful, stylish, and special. The owner and his wife are such genuinely kind and friendly people and made the stay even more unforgettable🤍

Villa Dominikku was a wonderful accommodation for my family during our first night in Sri Lanka. It is well located close to the airport, which made all the difference for us having landed late at night. Despite our late check in, Dulshan and Dilu stayed up to welcome us into the home and get us settled in. Their exceptional hospitality during our stay made us feel welcome. The villa was tastefully decorated and rooms were clean, comfortable. Home made breakfast was delicious as well. Will definitely recommend this place!

The villa was like a little oasis. It really has the wow factor when you arrive. Very clean and well looked after by Dulshan and Dilu. Dulshan could not have been more hospitable and helpful.

We only stayed a night here as a place to sleep after a late arrival from Australia. Dulshan waited up for our arrival and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Dulshan also kindly offered to help if we needed assistance with anything else during our trip.

“Perfect”

We stayed at Villa Dominikku at the beginning of our three week holiday, and ended our stay back here. We had a late flight home so didn't stay the night. However it was great to be back to relax & shower before our flight. Dulshan and Dilu’s hospitality is 10 / 10 ☺️ and you always feel at home. Big tip, Dulshan's driver, picked us up from Ahangama, and I can say one of the safest drivers we've come across. I totally recommend using him if you stay at Villa Dominikku.

We liked everything. The spacious, well-equipped and beautiful room. The super-comfy beds. The delicious breakfast. But above all, the experience was made perfect by our hosts Dulshan and Dilu, who did absolutely everything to make our stay wonderful. We could not have had a better start to our Sri Lankan adventure.

What did I like? Simple, every single thing. Lovely home, clean spacious rooms with excellent aircon. Abundant and tasty breakfast, made by the most gracious host family.

Look no further than Villa Dominikku, you won’t be disappointed. Dulsham and Dilu’s hospitality is truly exceptional. Despite our very late arrival at 1:30am, Dulsham greeted us with warmth, energy, and a genuine smile—he would make a perfect ambassador for Sri Lanka ☺️ The next morning, we woke to a delicious breakfast prepared by Dilu, which I’m still thinking about. The accommodation itself felt like a home away from home, with a large, comfortable room and a spacious bathroom. I can’t recommend Villa Dominikku highly enough. Also, the Villa is an easy Tuktuk ride to the top places to see in Negombo and restaurants. Definitely book as you won't be disappointed.

We loved everything about our stay here so much that we decided to stay a second night Our hosts were devine, so welcoming and we arrived very late . The home cooked breakfasts were so good .
