The staff, the food, the grounds and swimming pool were excellent in all respects. The situation of the hotel is perfect for some peace and relaxation either after or before a flight. We had a pleasant stay at this charming hotel, highlighted by friendly and attentive service. The food was excellent, with great quality and taste. The property itself is beautifully designed in a colonial style, with lovely rooms and a well-maintained, peaceful atmosphere. With only seven rooms, the hotel offers a very personal and intimate experience, which we truly appreciated. Another big advantage is the quiet location, while still being conveniently close—just about 30 minutes—from Colombo Airport (CMB).

Beautiful setting and very peaceful. We were upgraded to the suite which was huge, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Food was served on the patio outside the suite and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and plentiful. Pool area is delightful with bar service available. The staff are very attentive and helpful.

Very relaxing start to our holiday. Lovely spacious room with our own dining area just a outside. The pool was fabulous and it was nice to take a drink at the outside bar. Staff were very attentive.

We have traveled a lot through Sri Lanka, we have only booked luxury stays but this was by far our best one. Best staff, great food, surprisingly good winelast with Ornellaia and Amarone on it. The rooms were great and spacious with an amazinf garden and swimming pool. Definitely a highlight and great start of our Sri Lanka trip.

Just one level above the 10+ other accommodations, we have had in Sri Lanka during the last 5 weeks. Large room with a great old colonial vibe, comfortable bed, very nice shower (rainwater style), minibar with real milk for the coffee (espresso machine) and good space for luggage and unpacking Very nice staff, attentive without being in your face, delivering the service you need, when you need, including turn-down. They listen to your needs and find a way to help. Some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka, including the breakfast. We extended one night to try other dinner options from the menu😉. Also the first time in Sri Lanka I have seen a good selection (fairly priced) of wine.

The food was outstanding, freshly prepared, and the team happily customized dishes to our preferences. A perfect blend of comfort, great service, and personalized care – highly recommended!
