Great location, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and can step out onto the beach from the hotel. Very big pool area with lots of beds. We stayed 1night in 1bed apartment. Room was huge, WIFI worked great, large fridge & full kitchen for self-catering. We loved having our own washing machine, especially after a week of travelling. Balcony looks out onto the beach, great sunset view, also enjoyed watching locals play cricket & football in the afternoons. Staff were very friendly!

“A wonderful stay at Negombo”

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach Apartments, Negombo, where we spent two nights. We booked through Booking.com, and the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Upon arrival, the payment process took less than five minutes, and the security staff kindly helped us carry our luggage to the apartment. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It included a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, cooking pans, cutlery, and even a washing machine, which was very convenient. The living room had a comfortable sofa, dining table, and a TV with a variety of channels. The bathroom was clean and provided basic toiletries. Both hot and cold water were available with good water pressure. The internet connection was fast and stable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful sea view from the balcony, especially during sunset. The beach is within walking distance and was wide, clean, and relaxing. The property also has a swimming pool and gym facilities, which added extra value to the stay. Since meals are not provided, guests can either cook in the apartment, dine at nearby restaurants, or conveniently order food through Uber Eats or PickMe Food. There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The bed felt a bit too soft and saggy for our preference, and at times we could hear furniture being moved in the apartment above us. However, outside noise was very well blocked, making the apartment generally peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable experience at The Beach Apartments. The cleanliness, facilities, sea view, and convenient location made it a great place to stay in Negombo. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside stay.

Everything was fantastic..beach front was amazing

Very poor communication experience. First, I contacted the hotel through Booking 24 hours before arrival asking about the possibility of a late check-out — no response. Then I tried again via WhatsApp, also without success. My third attempt was in the evening at the reception, where they still could not give me an answer and told me to try again the next morning at 8 AM. I did exactly that, but again without success. I was redirected to a longer phone number for the manager, but once again received no reply. Check-in was supposed to be at 11 AM, and only around 10 AM did the receptionist finally manage to give us an answer. In the end, they did accommodate our late check-out request, which we appreciated, but the overall communication was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Great location and facilities. Large room with kitchen and lounge areas. Very clean and a lovely pool. Views of the beach / sunsets from our balcony and we could watch the locals playing beach cricket in the afternoon. Staff were super helpful. Plenty of restaurants and local shops a minutes walk away.

The room was very clean, everything worked . Great view overlooking the beach and sunsets. A good size pool and the staff were very pleasant. Very short walk to the main street with Restaurants and local shops.

Very close to the airport and spacious - perfect transit hotel. The apartment is right on the beach and close to plenty of restaurants

Perfect first hotel of our Sri Lankian adventure - we got picked up Yat airport. You also have to eat at Zen Cafe.
