We stayed at the hotel for one night after arrival and one night before departure. The location is convenient, close to the ocean. The additional services are a bit more expensive than average, but overall it offers good value for money. The rooms can be quite hot, so it’s better to choose a room with air conditioning. It’s a good option for a short stay. The food was really good, and we especially loved the coconut pancakes at breakfast.

Great accommodation in guiet part of Negombo but close to the main road where are restaurants, cafes, shops and beach. The owner is nice guy, with tips what you can do there or in Sri Lanka and he can arrange transport or trips.

We were welcomed by Mecious and immediately felt comfortable, almost like being part of the family. The location is excellent—only 15 minutes from the airport, and ideal for visiting the city, the fish market, and enjoying peaceful walks. The value for money is great, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. With his help, we arranged the airport transfer as well as transportation to our next destination in the north, which was very far away. Everything was handled smoothly and with great kindness.

We arrived late and they stayed up for our arrival, which was very much appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely time staying here with our 2 small children upon arrival and before leaving Sri Lanka. The host speaks excellent English and was very helpful with any inquiries we had. The family room was clean and comfortable, the A/C worked well and the private bathroom was properly cleaned. The family were very friendly and accomodating. We were treated as part of the family. Our children very quickly felt at home. Especially -yet not exclusively- when travelling with children this is a great and authentic place to arrive and end your Sri Lanka experience. Thank you for making us feel so welcome ! We'll be back

“Staying at the Sebastian Family homestay was a great, created warm memories. Definitely recommend”

The relaxing, restive experience was just what we needed, and only about15 minutes from CMB. Mecius, his uncle, mother, and grandfather made our short, transitional stay pleasant and welcoming;a great family vibe permeated the atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, quiet. The meals were traditional, delicious and beautifully presented. Thefamily went out of their way to see that we hadan enjoyable stay. For example, though arriving at night, Mecius' mother whipped up a refreshing light meal on the spur of the moment. When in the Colombo area again, as we expect we will be, hopefully we will be able to stay here as we ease into our itinerary. It is a great value and was a rewarding experience!

A gorgeous family run villa.. my room was large, comfy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast aksted me all day!!

Late night arrival and Communication with the host was very easy and friendly. I forgot my headphones and he kept them until I was able to pick them up 3 weeks later.

I had a very pleasant stay with the Sebastian Family. Great location, close to the beach and city, everything is within walking distance. The family was very friendly and helpful, they even let me stay longer and store my luggage until my late flight.

“Great stay in Negombo for my family”

Great place to stay for a night after a long flight and before heading off to the next place. Super lovely owner who is very kind and helpful! We are vegan and he prepared us a breakfast which was lovely - so much food! The room had good air con but also a fan. And mosquito net provided too. Beds are comfortable. The owner also helped us with getting a taxi pick up from the airport and then a taxi onto Sigiriya. Really good value for money!
