“A little gem in Negombo”

Walking distance from cafes, restaurants and beach. Quiet at night so you can get good sleep. Very clean and tidy. The pool is also really nice to cool off. Our room had an area just outside with a kettle and table, as well as another table with seats just outside by the pool so felt spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was a nice free extra that we didn’t expect. We were traveling with a baby and they made sure we could check in earlier and there was a cot. Thank you!

“Fantastic place run by a lovely family”

Lovely little place, in a quiet neighbourhood but very short walk to the main stretch along the sea. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean and the swimming pool was a hit with our daughter. There were lots of birds and little squirrel we could watch in the garden. There was very good breakfast and dinner. The host’s wife showed us different plants in her garden and explained about them. It was a lovely introduction to Sri Lanka, straight after landing. The host also put us in touch with an excellent driver.

“A really pleasant stay”

We booked a triple room for what was supposed to be for only 2 nights but ended up extending this to 5 nights due to a flight cancellation. The staff here are extremely helpful and welcoming. They really do go above and beyond. Our room was a good size and fairly well equipped. The pool was right outside our door which was a nice touch as we could watch our children swim from the outdoor furnishings if we wanted to. The breakfast was good and the location is a short walk from the beach/shops & restaurants.

Very friendly family and a lovely breakfast/restaurant area to relax in. Also, a lovely clean swimming pool. It is in a quiet area but easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach.

“Great after a long journey”

Clean and comfortable just what we needed after 24 hrs of travel. Slept for 12 hrs!

Very nice staff and host + place in a quiet area walking distance to the main area and beach(3-5 min). Not too many rooms which is also nice, ideal for easy traveling. The pool was a welcoming addition. Thanks a lot!!

Really nice family owned small place - in a house 2-3 rooms. A nice quiet pool in the courtyard. The price reflects what you can expect. I would not say there is anything bad but it is a basic accommodation. The owner is super nice and accomodating.

Our second visit here, and now the restaurant is open for dinners, which were very tasty and also very cheap compared to Negombo's bars and restaurants. This guest house is excellent especially for families with a clean pool, nice garden, very friendly and accomodating owners and generous breakfast.

Great people. They just opened a restorant and the food is very nice. Pool was great and the kids enjoyed it.

What a find! Perfect location to explore Negombo beach area, great Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers and curry, (order the night before) plus fruit, pancakes, fresh juice and egg and toast for kids. Wonderful friendly couple who go out of their way to help with any requests. Clean swimming pool, perfect for cooling off and efficient air conditioners in bedrooms, plus a small fridge. All together a great place to choose to stay in Negombo.

Lovely outdoor area and in a very good location. Super owners. We arrived very early in the morning but they still greeted us nicely. Large bed. Big bathroom.

Beautiful garden and a very lovely family. The room had everything we needed. They arranged a tuk-tuk for us to get to the airport and kindly allowed us a very late check-out. We felt very welcome and would happily stay here again.

We stayed as a simple overnight between plane transfers and it was just what we needed. Had we not arrived in a cyclone we would have enjoyed the close position to shops, restaurants and the beach and garden/pool. Very kind owner sorting us out with a restaurant and taxis etc

Lovely owner who prepared us a takeaway breakfast for our early morning departure. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Pool outside the room was clean. Located well next to good restaurants and short walk to the beach.

The owners were very attentive, it was peaceful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Would definitely stay again.
