The place is literally on the beach. If the fan is not too loud you can hear the waves when falling asleep. This is a special experience and authentic budget place, nestled among fishermen’s small houses, you are immersed in their daily life. The room is small but convenient and clean apart from tiny ants ;) nice shaded sitting area outside too. Anton is a good and helpful man.

Located right on the beachfront it was an exceptional place for our first night in Sri Lanka, stunning views and our host Anthony was very welcoming. Would definitely return!

Anthony was the most amazing host! We arrived late at night and he was ready and waiting outside for our arrival. Anthony was always up for a chat and a cup of tea and made us feel so welcome especially this being our first few nights in Sri Lanka. He even took me to the hospital and got me seen straight away, stayed and translated everything as I had kidney stones, we are so grateful for this! He also helped us arrange a Tuk Tuk and our next destination for our travels. His home is directly on the beach and just a short walk into town. We had a great time here and would stay here again when visiting Negombo! Thanks so much Anthony

The rooms are spacious but really simple. It hast a fan what was just enough. The owner is so nice and friendly. I loved staying there. I will definitely come back.

Anthony is a caring and pleasant host and having also a TukTuk service enables him to give you degrees of freedom regarding going to see places without being worried about being overcharged. He knows his neighborhood and gives practical advise and options.

Anthony, the owner, came to pick us up from the airport with a friendly smile. Arriving af the guesthouse he said; "this is home", and made us feel at ease. His mother is the one guarding the ship, wich was also a really nice feeling. She's always there. The room and the bathroom are no luxuory, we don't really need it. but it luckely was clean enough and comfortable and most importantly for us: it was a stress free arrival at sri lanka! Anthony also arranged a really nice breakfast and joined us so we could have a nice chat. After that he could take us to our next destination with his tuk tuk and he suggested staying with a friend of his. At "Dolphin Chilling" a bit more north (also a recommandation!) Along the way he could tell us a few nice things about sri lanka and we stopped a few times, also at a very nice nature area where we could see a lot of birds! We heard about his story, struggeling in the past years, not able to receive guests. Wanting to build new things but not earning enough money. Now he slowly can make the steps he wants. Running this place has been his big dream and he puts love in it and also the scenery, plants, the beach that is just next to it. Keeping it clean and maintaining it. We are really happy we met Anthony and are happy we could contribute to groing his dream guesthouse!

“The best Place to stay in sri lanka”

The accommodation and antoni were just great! I drove from Colombo airport directly to Negombo to this accommodation and was totally thrilled from the start! The accommodation is located in a small fishing village and is totally authentic! There were few other tourists, which I always like very much. But I still wasn't alone. Antoni and his family welcomed me warmly and Antoni explained everything to me about how things work in Sri Lanka, gave me tips and drove me to a market. We had great conversations. I really enjoyed it very much. Before I travel back to Germany, I'm going to stay at Antoni's accommodation again. "Grace Home stay" is really an absolute recommendation and a great way for anyone new to Sri Lanka to arrive relaxed. Thank you Antoni!

Classic Sri Lankan traditional fishing village location. Stunning location right on the beach. Perfect chance to relax a few days. Host Antony is very helpful and kind. Ask him about tuktuk rides. Has its own private beach and just skirts the edge of the popular tourist beach. Only two rooms so a good chance you’ll have the whole place to yourself. Quiet but still only short ride to town, and easy access to and from the airport, and lots of local places to eat nearby, or just ask the host. Clean spacious rooms, both have their own bathroom, mine was separate to the room but private. All the facilities you need in kitchen, lounge and outside tables etc. If you want an authentic experience amongst the locals for the start or end of your Sri Lanka trip, this is ideal. Check it out and enjoy.

a basic accommodation in a local quiet street with outdoor seating and on the beach . for a quick stop before and after a flight it’s fine - the owner Antony is a lovely man who took us to the airport and to a train station that avoided Colombo .
