We had a wonderful time, the hotel is on the beach, the location is fantastic. The food was good, the staff were supersweet. They made sure we are comfortable throughout. We went on a anniversary trip and they surprised us with a cake too, we didnt expect them to even remember as i mentioned weeks before we made the booking. All in all, its a good place to stay, we opted for ocean view room and it met all our expectations.

Every member of staff I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful — the kind of friendliness that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Cleanliness & Hygiene — The property was immaculately maintained throughout. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, and it was clear that high hygiene standards are taken seriously — something I always appreciate and rarely take for granted. Food & Variety — The dining experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious, and the variety on offer was impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. Every meal was a highlight of the day. Overall, Goldi Sands Hotel delivers on every front. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming stay with excellent food. I will certainly be returning!

We stayed at Goldi Sands just after landing and before continuing into Sri Lanka. We were given a warm welcome in a lovely hotel. The buffet was tasty and extensive, with some options suitable for my vegan partner. There was live music played at dinner which created a nice atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable.

“Gem in Negombo”
Staff were attentive, friendly and super efficient. The food was amazing ! Best seafood place in Negombo area. Bed was super comfy, the new infinity pool was amazing a great addition to the lap pool already there. Will definitely return.
