“Short but lovely”

Lovely property. We stayed in a standard room. Good sized room. Great bathroom. Lovely hosts. Will help with transfer to airport if needed. I was feeling unwell the morning of checking out & they kindly gave us a later check out. It was much appreciated.

Great hospitality, a cosy room and a yummy breakfast. The airport pickup was reasonably priced considering I landed late at night. Thanks Naveen and family.

“Exceptional”

Great location close to beach and restaurants, and airport. Secure parking. Exceptionally clean, absolutely spotless. Lovely family (as usual in Sri Lanka), and the property was very well maintained (not usual in Sri Lanka unfortunately, from our experience during our month long holiday). Fantastic bathroom, enclosed shower with super hot water. Air conditioning, tv (didn't use), and extremely comfortable bed. Our flight wasn't until after midnight, so we were able to negotiate a super late checkout (after 7pm). Lots of space and very quiet. Good communication.

“Good close to the airport”

Perfect for one night stay if you arrive with a late flight. Room is spacious and the breakfast is generous. We organised the airport pick up from them and it was reasonably priced. The owner might ask you to buy some whisky duty free, we did , as a favour, and he paid us back no problems.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was clean and had absolutely everything you would need. The rooms are big and the hosts are also really nice. It’s also well located near the beach and some good restaurants. We’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Negombo

Cleaness and location.

Funwhales was welcoming and comfortable for a one night stay before my flight. The hosts were lovely and brought me some food to take with me as I was leaving before breakfast was served. The room was comfortable, clean and close to restaurants and the beach.

Clean bathroom, comfy bed. Calm and peaceful atmosphere. Staff very attentive and helpful, organised us a driver, exchanged money, got up early to make us breakfast - amazing!
