“Incredibly quiet surroundings with Eco room”

Overall, it is a great place with some wetland wildlife and incredibly quiet surroundings. The location is all right, technically, behind the airport. Clean room, and the room is large. Materials are eco-friendly, even bricks. It's the fitting room. After all, what I have paid is well worth it—authentic Sri Lankan nature.

Beautiful air conditioned double room with an en-suite with the best shower I had in Sri Lanka! Leel is a great host and his mum is an excellent cook. Close to the airport so a fantastic place to stay after flying into, or before flying out of Sri Lanka.

Nice place with very friendly staff ,Chef was very talented and foods were fantastic ,room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.They offer eco friendly transport by Leaf cars and car charging available.I am hoping to visit soon again

“Great room and great experience as well as great hospitality”

Very nice room and we like everything about the room , it’s eco friendly and it was our first experience with totally different and unique room, everything about the room is eco friendly from the garbage bin , we love it and also want to mention what a great Hospitality , since we arrived by 7.30 they just let us rest and didn’t bother to get information and everything went professional, they were even prepared our breakfast according to our choice and we definitely visit again.

It was my second stay at the ECO hut by LEEL. I love being surrounded by nature in a local setting and only 20 minutes from the airport. Leel is also a driver so it's convenient to plan trips in one go. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared. Leel is a great host, very attentive and a kind hearted person who is always happy to help. He even brought medicine for me when I needed it that night and I appreciate this a lot. The sound of various birds was calming and I enjoyed being away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this place and would always come back.

“Fully solar-powered property and iconic eco-tourism”

Breakfast was milk, rice, chili paste, coffee, and tea, a remarkable Sri Lankan traditional meal. But chili is a bit hot; onion jam is much better. It was a short stay. I expected the beach would be closer, but no effect because this type of accommodation is to be used as transit in Negombo before starting travel around the Island. However, a fully solar-powered property and iconic eco-tourism international rated standard were achieved within the property—also, all food seam to be organic and locally freshly harvested. Unfortunately, the room price was meager, and I am not sure the owner could afford the cost at the current rate. However, the property is brand new, and I assume the rate is promotional for a short time. Therefore, I still recommend the property is well fit for Eco lovers, short-stay, long-distance workers, and low-cost travelers with traditional expectations. Beach lovers may need eco transportation like a bicycle to get to the beach, a short-distance ride, and the little garden.

Wonderful place close to real nature. The garden is like a small botanical garden and everything is done in a sustainable way. This place is a real pearl.

Property was located in a quite location. Very echo friendly atmosphere. Lot of greenery and fresh vegetables were grown in a part of the property. It also provides FREE charging facility for Electric Vehicles. Food was top notch. Food is served to the room and can be eaten outside sitting area. Mr.Leel the owner was very friendly and attentive. I Was very impressed with his idea of having an ECO friendly property. The room was very spacious and air conditioned with a very comfortable bed. Free WiFi with uninterrupted internet connection. Also has a TV🙂
