“Amazing and peaceful stay”

The owners are amazingly helpful and friendly. They knew we wanted to take a bus the next day, and were willing to help out with the bus time schedule. We had lunch which the woman prepared and breakfast in the morning. Both were perfect! The rooms are clean, the shower works well and the sitting area inside and on the balcony are great for enjoying your meal or playing a game. it was close to the beach (100m) where you can see a lot of boats fishing.

I had a very pleasant stay at Ruwini bungalow. Ajantha and his family literally treated me as a family member making sure that I was always looked after and had what I needed. The place itself is very clean and peaceful and close to the main beach but also in a more residential area so you have access to localities as well. The kitchen is the the added plus to a comfortable stay.

“Beautiful and pleasant stay”

Host was absolutely sweet couple. They made it a point that our safety is the priority and ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room is clean. It was actually a terrace that's been modified into a small room. Kind of a unique experience. No air-condition, only ceiling fan. It can accommodate 2 pax. The room was brightly lighted with glass windows. Cool breeze and wave sounds makes our stay pleasant. The room was clean, in fact this is the only place I'm comfortable to use their towels. Warm welcome and hospitality from the host. Honest and kind people. The house is walking distance to beach-1 minute walk. Beach is visible from the facility. They suggested us to walk to the beach before if rains. Took us for a slow ride and sightseeing around the Negombo town. Also showed us few significant Hindu temples. Took us to money exchange and local supermarket and assist us to purchase some local teas as souvenirs on the way to airport. Such a pleasant trip. Happy to know this couple.

It was an awesome stay at Ruwini Bungalow. Very Affordable and convenient. Even they do have a hostel downstairs for budget guests ! Staff was super friendly. Sea Breeze and the rumbling waves are audible to the Balcony at night. Less than 50 m to the Poruthota Beach. Highly recommend !!!

I have stayed at dozen of hotels in. Ruwini Bungalow is downright classic and inviting. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and was there for every need of mine. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and the bed comfort cannot be beat. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The prices were reasonable too! It has a peaceful ambience. If you are willing to stay tranquilized I highly recommend staying in this charming place.
