Great breakfast with a choice of Sri Lankan or English. Room was fantastic. Pool delightful. Brenda and Ron were accommodating to your needs with lots of information.

A family run guest house with only 4 rooms. The owners and staff were incredible as were the accomodation and the grounds.

We only stayed 1 night but would have liked to stay longer if our schedule allowed. The room was comfortable and everything provided to make for an enjoyable stay, the garden very tranquil and lovely as photos show with an inviting pool. Brenda and Ron were very helpful and gave us lots of information excellent hosts.

“Relaxing, friendly Guesthouse”

Lovely relaxing Guesthouse, Brenda & Ron organised transport from Airport. Breakfast was very enjoyable, room spacious & very clean, a tranquil property. The pool and grounds were a great way to relax and recover from long flight.

This is a beautiful place isituated in a quiet side street but just a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. It had lovely garden, pool, outside seating areas. The hosts were very friendly. They arranged a taxi to the airport for the following morning. It was a shame I couldn't stay longer.

“Great short stay”

We had a lovely stay at Ayubowan Guesthouse. Brenda and Ron were friendly and welcoming,and the room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The cold drink on arrival was much needed! The guesthouse has a pool area, although sadly we didn’t make use of this as we arrived early evening and it closes at 6.30pm,and a beautiful garden making it a really relaxing place to chill.It’s also in a great location,a 10-minute stroll to the beach and nearby restaurants which was very convenient. Although we left early for a flight and didn’t have breakfast, tea and coffee are available for guests to help themselves to at any time. One thing to note is that the property is cash only, but this is clearly stated in their policies so there are no surprises. Overall, it’s a peaceful,well-kept place with kind hosts and we’d happily stay again.🌴😊

“Perfect start to our holiday”

Ron & Brenda were lovely hosts - this was a great spot to start our Sri Lanka holiday. Ron organised a trip around the town and to the lagoon and booked our onward travel, Great breakfast.

We only stayed for one night before an early flight the next but felt very pampered. The room was very comfortable and the property is immaculate. Ron and Brenda really looked after us and we were very grateful for their advice on how early to leave for the airport. They organised a car for us and Ron got up early to wave us off. We swam in the pool and it was sparkling. We felt the position, close to the beach and restaurants but only 15-20 minutes from the airport, was perfect for us.

“Find somewhere with Sri Lankan hospitality”

Clean, hot showers, communal areas but nothing we hadn’t had at better priced places. Chose as thought paying more would be treat on last night of 21 days. Cannot see what we paid extra for.

I only stayed one night very briefly on arrival from the airport, leaving the following morning, however, the hosts were friendly and welcoming and recommended a great place for dinner. The Sri Lankan breakfast was enormous but good.

Very clean room. The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka by far, nothing came close to Ayubowan Guesthouse after that. Probably ruined it for us for the rest of the trip.

Hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and arranged onward travel.. Close to the airport so was an ideal base to start exploring Sri Lanka. Clean, comfy rooms, great breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Ayubowan Guesthouse. The guesthouse is a small paradise in a quiet area. And ofcourse I have to point out the attentive care of the hosts.

Perfect place to start or end your Sri Lanka trip not too far from the airport, close to the beach, lovely pool & rooms. We slept so well after our long flight. Rob & Brenda are really welcoming & the Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing!
