A wonderful homestay located right on the beach, and I had a room with a stunning ocean view. When I arrived, there was nobody at the reception, but the neighbors managed to call the host, who arrived just 5 minutes later. They even found a sheltered spot under the roof to park my bicycle. There is also a large shared refrigerator and a well-equipped kitchen. Overall, it is a great place for those who want to be as close to the ocean as possible and experience local life without any tourists. Highly recommend!

“Another great stay!”
Love the location of Anicia in the heart of a fishing village rather than the big resorts in the tourist area further up the beach. Rooms are spotless and has all you need, you get use of the small kitchen and refrigerator, the sea breeze cools the air, and the sounds of the waves lull you to sleep at night. It is the perfect base for an airport run- 29 minutes away and good for any last minute shopping in Negombo - 10 minute walk. Stayed here before and will stay again next time I'm in Sri Lanka.

Excellent location close to bus and rail stations. On a working beach - great to watch life happen as you have your supplied breakfast. Clean, basic room with fan at a good price. Owner was very helpful.

“Not recommend”

“Lovely Beach Stay”
Just on the beach, can hear waves while sleeping. Very beautiful location. This was my second stay after 2020.

“Right at the beach”
Right next to the beach, you can hear the waves in your room. From our room we even saw the beach, palm trees and the water. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. There's a supermarket and a restaurant in walking distance. The "Centre" and train station is a 15 minute walk or short TukTuk ride away

It was a very nice accomodation! We really liked staying here, the owner was very friendmy, talked a lot with us and Served us tea for free. The accomodation is Right on the Beach and you can enjoy your Cup of tea with a great view over the Beach. We had a room with a windows directly on front of a wall, so the air circulation was not too good, but there was warm water and we slept very well:)
