It was our second time here. last time was 4 years ago and I still like it a lot here. nice owners, great location, 20 meters from the beach, really nice breakfast, comfortable rooms. highly recommended

“Perfect first stay after arriving in Sri Lanka”

Nice owners, fine room and good airco. Shower was great, only the toilet gets a bit wet after showering. Compared to other establishments, the beds were good. As everywhere in Sri Lanka, you only get sheets, no blankets. We didn't ask for them, though, so maybe they were available. Breakfast was basic, but good. Location is great, in the center but still nice and quiet. Around the corner are shops and restaurants.

This is a clean and comfortable guest house in a very good location for the beach, for shops and restaurants and it's an easy journey from the airport. There are very nice areas for outside seating. There is hot water in the sink - which is very unusual in Sri Lanka - and in the shower. There is a mop for keeping the bathroom dry which is very helpful. The staff are very helpful.

Nice and clean room, very comfortable bed, high water pressure in the shower. Good working wifi. Nice host.

“The perfect and convenient short stay!”

This is the perfect stay if you’re flying in and need to stay somewhere close to the airport. Not only did they organise an airport pickup for me at 1am (even when my flight was delayed) they welcomed me into my room with a cold bottle of water. The staff are very lovely and I felt very safe the whole time as a female solo traveller. The breakfast was also great and highly recommend getting it if you’re jet-lagged and don’t feel like making a decision! The owner also drove me to the ATM to get rupees which was very nice.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Nice big beds. Go for A/C if you get the corner room in the sun on the first floor. Nice rooftop for exercise during sunset. Cosy atmosphere and located in between the best restaurants Zen Cafe and Zen Beach Restaurant. Planta was also great. Internet was the best I had in a long time. Cash payment (the real deal). 15-20 mins to the airport. Owner speaks English well and spent some time in Germany in his early days. We will certainly be back. Very recommended.

- well maintained rooms with traditional wooden windows and furniture (except the closet) - friendly staff - clean, bright room 5 & 6 - great wifi in room4-6 as router is in front. - 1 min walk to restaurants and mini mart (try zen café) - 50 meters to the beach - rooftop terrace - soap / a/c / fan / white sheets / mosquito nets - chill out in front of your room on the veranda - white tiled floor - good room rate
