We changed the booked apartment for a houseboat, which was a new experience for us. The weather was so pleasant. When there was a heavy rainstorm and strong wind, the houseboat swayed a bit. My husband really enjoyed staying on the boat. The blue decoration on the boat was my favorite.

It's our second time there and the location is amazing if you just want to chill by the river and enjoy nature. The hosts are more than helpful, they're an amazing couple.

A charming cottage in a charming area. Helpful and discreet hosts. Many little things, e.g. kitchen equipment, dressing table, laundry basket, which made us feel at home. Outside a table and a garden full of trees and hydrangeas. Nearby a private corner by the Vecht river, perfect for a romantic dinner. A path to the cottage, on which we happily walked with our dog. The area charmed us more than Amsterdam ;-)

“Lovely holiday house in beautiful area”

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Aan de Vecht and loved everything. The accommodation was so clean and nice and Rob and Leoine's welcome was so warm, we felt at home straight away. The location is fantastic, especially with a water-loving dog like we had - walks from the door and beautiful views. Rob gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner in a lovely nearby restaurant and was kind and generous to us during our stay. The layout of the house was very good, plenty of space for 4 and a dog, and everything we needed was provided, including wine! Many thanks to Rob and Leoinie for making the end of our holidays so much fun.

Hosts. Attention to detail eg welcoming board for our family. All kitchenware you'd need. Location is great. Rob could also advise on travel to Amsterdam, book bikes in the village. It was a perfect short holiday. The cabin is very pleasant with a little glass boathouse for a swim or morning coffee, whatever rocks your boat.

The apartment is really great! Located not far from Amsterdam and has a beautiful view near house. The owner was very nice, helped us with all kind of questions. Also the apartment is pet friendly. Parking is near the house. Great place to stay for a few days or longer.
