Villa Verde offers self-catering, ground-floor accommodation just 200 metres from the beach in Nea Makri, very close to the historical sites of Marathon and within an hour and a quarter by bus and metro from Athens city centre. This property is truly carbon-free with no oil, no gas, and a renewables-only electricity supply. Verde studios come with a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, free WiFi, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A microwave oven is available on a first come first served basis. Towels and bed linen are provided. Every studio has its own entrance from the garden and a private patio. Daily cleaning service is provided. Bicycles are available for the guests. Athens International Airport is around 20 km from the property.

“A green oasis, well located and amazing hosts”
The place is beautiful, well located, and has everything you need. Chris and Silvia are amazing hosts, very warm hearted and always around when you need them. The garden is a green oasis and you can feel the love and care they put in this place. Can highly recommend Villa Verde! :)

“Wonderful getaway”
First of all, the matresses were unusually comfortable and I had the best sleep of my life. The apartment is located in a more secluded area surrounded by nature and a beautiful garden that they maintain well kept. The apartment was very cozy and very comfortable to stay in. We are very grateful to Mrs Silvia who helped us maintain the apartment in order, especially the days we were running out of time. Mr Chris was very accommodating and friendly as well. I loved that there was an electric squeezer for orange juice and a kitchen to cook. We had a lovely time there and if we ever find ourselves in Marathonas again we would be choosing them again :)

“I enjoyed my stay there due to the calm and nice place”
The Green all around and well maintained that makes the place very nice and you can hear the voice of the waves since you are very close to the beach. I like it and definitely I will go back again. They are cleaning the room on daily basis. The owners Mr.Kris and Mrs Silvia are so nice and friendly Thank you and I Really appreciate your cooperation . “Great place with Amazing people”
Great location, condition of the property is also good. Room is clean, warm, with climate control, contains comfortable bed, fridge, stove, table, chairs — everything you need and even more. Also, there is a patio, which I thought is really great for breakfast or even can be used as a work place :)
