Surrounded by a flowered garden right on the sandy beach of Nea Makri, Ballos Apartments offers self-catering accommodation with furnished balcony overlooking Mount Penteli or the Euboean Gulf. Athens City is within a 30-mniute drive. A kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge and dining area is included in all the air-conditioned apartments at the Ballos. Each has a seating area with sofa and TV. BBQ facilities are available in the garden. The centre of Nea Makri with restaurants and shops is within a 5-minute walk. Free WiFi is available only in the lounge area. Guests will find a sailing club within 300 metres of the property. Ships to Euboea and the Cyclades depart from Rafina Port 5 km away. “Fabolous”
The host was great, really nice, pleasant, and ready to help. It felt like we were visiting our family members. The apartment was fabulous, really clean, roomy, well kitted, and also the hotel itself is really nice, especially the garden, everything was well maintained, it exceeded our expectations, and we had a feeling like we were at home. To sum it up, this was by far the best hotel we have visited, and we are hoping to get an opportunity to come back and stay at it again. 10/10

“Great stay, great location, great host!”
The host was so friendly and very willing to help. She even gave us a ride to the supermarket and offered us a ride to a beach. The apartment was spacious with a large balcony. Loved it!

Great location, right in front of a beach. Big garden and big apartment. We git there right from the airport via taxi. Everything was great. The apartment kitchen is not equipped well with all tools needed for cooking, but there are many restaurants in close neigbourhood so we coocked just a tea and were earing outside.

“Clean Tidy Great Location BUT Very Very Old Fashioned”
The grounds are beautiful and kept clean and tidy. The entrance gate is right on top of the beach. The apartments are large but very old-fashioned. There is no internet in the rooms, you would need to use it by going to sit in reception. The beds are clean but basic and thin and you only get one sheet to sleep with. There was no kettle, hairdryer, iron, pots, cutting knives, or cooking utilities. We could heat things like pizza in the oven but there was not a knife or anything to cut it with. The rooms are clean and tidy but basic and old, it reminded me of an apartment from the 1970's. There is a tv in lounge but it as old as the hills and not easy to watch. The balcony looked over the beach and was large enough to sit on comfortably. The inside building, from reception to front door was dark at all times and by the time you got to the light switch, so you can see where you are going, you are at the front door! It needs updating. The best thing was the staff were friendly and helpful, it was clean and tidy and it was right on top of the beach and the location for shops and bars is excellent. I travel to Nea Makri several times a year and I would not stay here again.
