The breakfast, the pool, the location ale most of all, the travel agency right next door (same owner, do book flights with Mr. Efraim). If you arrive or leave by bus, the bus terminal is 50 minutes away

“Honest and welcoming”
"I had an incredible stay at Hotel Alegria and cannot recommend it enough! From the start, the communication was excellent. When my bus was running late and I was worried about arriving near midnight, Marylia Bonifacio and the team reassured me and were waiting right there to greet me—the location is perfectly situated directly across from the Cruz del Sur station. What truly set them apart was their honesty and dedication. I accidentally left a bag containing $100 worth of gift items in my room after checking out. As soon as I contacted them, Marylia located the bag immediately. She didn't just hold it for me; she coordinated with a trusted contact to have it delivered to my next hotel in Ica that same evening. It is rare to find such honest, helpful, and kind-hearted people while traveling. They truly went above and beyond to save my trip. Thank you, Marylia, for being so wonderful!" “V pleasant stay would come back.”
Friendly helpful, staff . V clean . Breakfast was standard cold fare for Peru. Beds very comfortable. Garden area v pleasant are d the pool . Luggage facilities were great and we were able to stay in the hotel premises until our bus came.

Location is close to the bus depots, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. Nice pool and garden area. Breakfast is basic but sufficient.

The pool was really nice, we got extra towels for the pool. The room was comfortabel and clean. The hotel was near the bus station which was perfect for us.

Convenient location opposite Cruz del Sur bus terminal. Stored our luggage until night-time departure without any issues. Lovely breakfast setting.

“Beautiful courtyard and friendly staff”
Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful courtyard/pool area and wish I stayed longer to relax here longer. Breakfast was basic but good. Comfy bed. Best shower pressure I’ve had in Peru so far!

Fairly basic rooms, but clean and comfortable. All areas kept spotlessly clean and staff were all friendly and helpful. Very helpful organising tours without being hard sell and pushy.

“Would happily stay here again...”
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Swimming pool looked okay for quick dip, breakfast was okay. Next to the hotel is a tour company (owned by hotel owner) - they were amazing and managed to get me a guide for the aqueduct and pyramids with almost zero notice. If I'd known about them beforehand I would booked all my excursions with them. Lovely people too.

It was near the tour guide I was using. It had a nice garden and pool and included breakfast. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The hotel is very well located for Peru Hop guests. Excellent coffee shop with large menus next door. Plentiful breakfast. No air conditioning but room was a comfortable temperature in May. Elevator and rooms have a hallway with chair and table overlooking the pool area..
