Although electricity was off Emil did his best to make a good breakfast.

Everything about this property was incredible. The hotel is so cute in design, the attention to detail is amazing and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The staff are SO nice. Very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The whole stay felt very homely and lovely. Very clean hotel and very good location as well. Cannot recommend highly enough.

That was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed! The hotel has a gorgeous interior and the location is amazing. The staff member who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and took the time to tell us in detail about the main places worth visiting. We really appreciated such a warm and heartfelt welcome.

We met Michel and his family, and all were so lovely and friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent, with all the key sites within short walking distance, and they have clearly taken great care of the property, maintaining its heritage and character while keeping it modern. Everything was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend.

Michelhouse is a great guest house, we loved the stay. Great view from the balconies, great location in the old city, next to the market. Everything is accessible by foot.

“Lovely staff and location.”

Brilliant location, but be prepared to transport luggage from the car on foot as the car park is outside the old city. Breakfast was plentiful, mainly Arabic, with additional made to order omelettes and limited cereal. There was no fresh fruit/ yoghurt and the pastries had all been eaten by the time we had breakfast on our 1st morning, so we didn’t realise they were an option. However, on our last morning we were the only people having breakfast and had 5 star treatment!
