“Amazing and we recommended it to everyone !”

We were so lucky to find this amazing place to stay, which we absolutely recommend to everybody who wants to spend some quality time in Malta ! Villa Selmunett is a beautiful villa located away enough of the noise of cities like Valetta. It is run by Roger and Maria, a lovely couple from Malta who will strive to make your stay as nice as possible. For that, they will make you every morning a different type of breakfast (including the delicious Maltese breakfast experience), while they recommend you places to go, what and how to do there, and also fun and interesting stories. Thanks to them we got to experience Malta and Gozo in exciting and efficient ways, that we would have never got to do if we had stayed in a common hotel. Also their cute dog Toby made our stay much more fun and home feeling ! We will recommend this place for sure to our friends and families and to everybody who wants to have an amazing and unforgettable Malta trip! No wishes left but a need to return soon!

We loved every moment here! the villa is typically Maltese with a stunning garden full of different plants. Maria and Roger are 2 kind and helpful hosts always ready to give advice and have a chat. Special mention to the real host, Toby the boxer! Always ready to cuddle and very very polite. It is certainly a place to recommend. The clean and tidy room, the scented towels (the host also provide those for the sea), stocked minibar, different breakfast served on the terrace every day! VOTO:10+

Maria and Roger are the best hoasts ever! They are friendly and stand by with advice and action. They day always starts with a smile on your face due to a wonderful and varied breakfast and to the charming company of Roger and his stories. Villa Selmunett is a comfortable place with a beautiful garden in the best location of Malta (in the middle of the island, close to Valetta and quiet).

“A week in Malta: like beeing in family”

Located in a small quiet town (with good restaurants) in a perfect position to visit the entire island (by car, or by bus). There is a big private parking with free access day and night. Wonderful Villa with big garden and beautiful room with every comfort. Every morning a different breakfast with fresh products, with lovely chat with Roger and Maria (and the dog, Toby): it was like beeing part of the family. I was sick for one day and they helped me a lot.

It was a big pleasure for us to stay on this Villa. Everything was made for our comfort: cozy and clean room with a large bed, designed so nice; very delicious breakfasts, every day different, with local dishes, served on a beautiful terrace; wonderful garden and very good wi-fi. The location was also convenient to reach out to all other places in Malta. But most of all we appreciated the warm welcome of Roger and Maria. We are so lucky to meet such kind and nice people. We express our gratitude for your exceptional care about us, your advice, and your efforts to make our stay so pleasant. Me and my daughter miss you so much!

A beautiful Maltese Villa with lovely period furniture and a very warm welcome from the owner Roger. Breakfasts on the terrace were a delight, with lovely local produce accompanied by Roger's cheerful stories and encyclopedic knowledge of Malta. Easy parking in the large gated front area of the house. Naxxar is a lovely town, well placed to reach most places across Malta in 30mins Max by car. I very much hope we can stay at Selmunett again when we come back to these amazing and fascinating Islands.

We felt special and we were very pleased that we could spend our holiday in your company. We were able to perfectly rest, also mentally from the problems of everyday life, bask in the sun, get to know the most important places in Malta and Gozo, try delicious Maltese delicacies, get excited about public transport, which also has its charm and will remain in our memory for a long time. “Relaxing and Peacefull”

If you want a tranquil place away from the hustle of the city, this is the place to be. A peacful, exclusive area. We didn't spend a lot of time at our stay due to travelling but the time we did spend there we used to have interesting conversations with Roger and Maria.

Roger, Maria and Toby (the boxer) are great hosts. They made us feel as if it was a family home with morning chats, helpful tips and sharing local treats. Their house is beautiful and clean. We recommend having a car to go to nearby restaurants or beaches. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
