I had an amazing stay. The place is cosy and in a perfect location to explore the city and Rafael was a wonderful host. I can't recommend him strongly enough, we spent two day tours together and I got to see the beauty and history of Nakhchivan.

“It could not have been better.”

As most other guests I would not like to mention the hostel itself. Well, it's a basic hostel, clean and located very central, so you just can walk around Nakchivan centre. So nothing really special at all, except that there is a shop of the local brewery nearby ;-) But the owner is the one who makes the difference: Rafael is friendly, knows everything and is a perfect guide on his tours throughout Nakhchevan. We did two excurions with him, it was more than interesting and I would highly recommend them. Absolutely perfect.

Top host Rafael who also was my guide for two days. Great guide, he knows Naxchivan really very well; we visited the main sights in this beautiful part of Aserbaidjan Perfect! The hostel itself is in a top Location, easy for walking the sights no taxi needed. It’s super clean, big rooms, comfy beds, clean bathroom and very cosy. What a nice stay !!!

The owner of the hostel is very supportive and also organises pick-ups and drops of to the airport. Moreover, he organises cheap and insightful tours throughout the enclave.

This place is far more than just a guest house! The owner and his wife go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The guest house and garden are adorned with beautiful artworks created by the talented owner. I highly recommend booking a multi-day trip with them—it's the most convenient and affordable way to explore the exclave thoroughly, especially if you're short on time.

“Very charming hostel with some flaws”

This is actually not a hostel, but a house with three rooms, kitchen, and bathroom. Situated in the center of Nakhchivan, it's located in an incredibly charming garden - ideal for having breakfast or hanging out. The decor of the house is really old school, and the place oozes charm. The beds were comfortable and the wifi good, and the owner does tours of Nakhchivan if you'd like. However, there were no locks on any doors (house, rooms, or bathroom), and the toilet kept malfunctioning.

“Relaxed atmosphere, friendly owner and good tours”

The owner organised a very good tour for us and made a special effort to take us to a place we had missed because we ran out of time. The atmosphere was very relaxed

Wonderful host and nice location near the city center. Rafayil helped me to book a tour around the main sights of Nakhchivan and recommended nice places for food in town. Very cosy garden as well.

“Amazing stay in Nakhchivan”

This was an amazing stay in Nakhchivan. Really central to everything, gym next door (if you like to train while travelling) and Rafayil and his wife Ella were both great. They cooked me vegan food especially and Rafayil was great at showing me around Nakhchivan at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again - Nakhchivan itself is also such an amazing place.

Have a great time at Nakchivan thanks to the guesthouse, the owner and the tour he provided. The guesthouse is comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, have the necessities and clean. It is also close to a shawarma shop with lovely lady owner nearby. The owner can also provide tour around Nakchivan, he is very knowledgeable and will provide you with lots of information. They also serve yummy breakfast and can suggest you with local foods eaten by the locals. They also got cute friendly dog!

“An incredible host for an incredible region.”

Rafael was an amazing host. He was very thoughtful and super nice during all the time. He helped us picking us up from the airport, to rent a car and sharing with us a deep knowledge of the Nakchivan culture. The house is really cozy and we had a very good rest after a couple of long journeys visiting the region. He is one of a kind that make you feel at home while you are travelling. 500% recommendable!

“Excellent”

These are my personal views so may be biased one. He is a great host. Very friendly. Even whole family is lovely, joyful and friendly. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every evenings with him. Will take you for tour or will organise it. Always smiling and happy and same is with his lovely wife. Always ready to go extra mile. Spacious common hall, big varandah and small garden also. Wish him best of luck in life.,

Great to get pickup at the airport and tropoff! Room quite ok, Rafayil is a nice guy who likes sitting together with his guests.

“Fascinating!”

The hostel is located in the residential house. The whole house has been dedicated to the hostel. It is the only affordable option in Nakhichevan to stay, the host is great and super helpful. He offers affordable tours around the whole region, which I also highly recommend!
